Episode Synopsis: MEDIUM "Native Tongue" Season 7 Episode 7 – Suddenly unable to understand the spoken word, Allison's marriage shows signs of strain and she develops an unexpected friendship with a linguist. Unable to communicate with his wife, Joe reaches the limits of his patience being married to a woman who is a slave to her visions, on MEDIUM, Friday, Nov. 5 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Guest stars include Judy Reyes ("Scrubs") as Jane Livingston, a linguist who befriends Allison, and Rena Sofer ("Heroes," "24″) as Dr. Natalie Salem, who treats Allison for her language issues.

Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette), a mother of three, has the gift of being able to talk to dead people, as well as foresee events and witness past events in her dreams. When she begins working for Phoenix District Attorney Manuel Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) as an intern, she has a dream related to a murder in Texas, the successful solving of which convinces Devalos and others working in the D.A.'s office – as well as herself and her husband Joe (Jake Weber) – that her gift is real.

Additionally, Allison has helped and been helped by Captain Kenneth Push of the Texas Rangers (Arliss Howard), the first law-enforcement person to whom Allison revealed her gift, and Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston) of AmeriTips, a nationwide private detective agency. In season four, it was revealed that Cynthia had a missing daughter. Allison's dreams showed that Cynthia's daughter was dead. Cynthia made a choice to kill the murderer of her daughter and go to prison. Cynthia later appeared in season five to help Allison on a case. Also during this season, it was revealed that Lynn DiNovi (Tina DiJoseph), Lee's live-in lover and an assistant to the Mayor of Phoenix, had become pregnant with Lee's child. In the season five finale, Allison discovers that she has a tumor on her brainstem. To prevent the brutal murders of her family in the future, Allison risked her life as she postponed the critical surgery fearing it would prevent her from solving the case. During her operation the tumor was successfully removed, except for a small piece deeply imbedded in her brainstem, Joe is told that Allison is in a coma and may not survive.

In the sixth season premiere episode, Allison awoke from the coma and was suffering the consequences of postponing the surgery. Allison's psychic abilities slowly begin to resurface as a form of déjà vu. At the end of the episode, Allison is also slowly recovering her physical abilities.

Since the season six premiere, eldest daughter Ariel (Sofia Vassilieva) has taken the role of nurturing her siblings Bridgette (Maria Lark) and Marie (Carabello twins). Ariel also falls victim to a body possession, from which she recovers with Allison's help. After her surgery, Allison gets back to her normal routine working alongside Devalos and Lee, with possible side effects of her surgery affecting her dreams. Also, Lee proposes to Lynn. As the season progresses, Ariel's transformation from a young girl into a mature woman was shown in the episode "Time Keeps on Slippin'", where she solves a crime in the future. In the season finale, Allison receives a letter from her neurologist that she needs to be seen about her brain tumor.

Meanwhile, Ariel also receives an acceptance letter from a university away from home. The episode begins when Joe awakens to Allison dead in their bed, having died from her tumor during the night. As the family mourns her death, Allison contacts Ariel from the other side, asking her to do one last thing for her before she passes on. However, Ariel decides to follow her own path. She turns to alcohol and leaves Phoenix without telling anyone. Suddenly, Allison awakens in her bed alive, the same morning Joe found her dead. At the end of the episode, Allison, Joe, Ariel, Devalos and his wife Lily, are seen celebrating Lynn and Lee's wedding, all toasting to their bright futures.

But we still take time to do the fun episodes. We have the droids Artoo and Threepio and they're always fun. They're classic Star Wars. So we have episodes where it is all about Artoo and Threepio and then we have episodes with the Jedi and their grand struggle through the Clone Wars. It's fun to be able to do all those things so you never overkill one type of episode.

Creator Eric Kripke originally planned for the show to last only five seasons, but due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, the CW network renewed the series for a sixth season. Kripke has confirmed he will not be returning as showrunner; however, he will still remain as a hands-on executive producer, leaving Executive Producer Sera Gamble to take over the reins.

Gamble said the sixth season of the show will focus on the brothers' relationship. The season will steer towards the format of the early seasons with "lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and...a season-long story arc to weave in". Misha Collins will return as series regular Castiel, as will Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer. Mitch Pileggi will make multiple appearances as Sam and Dean's grandfather. The recurring role of Christian, the maternal cousin of Sam and Dean, was given to Corin Nemec; he is described as "capable, calm under pressure, and very good at his job". Kim Rhodes will return as Sheriff Jody Mills, as will Fredric Lehne as Azazel.

The season airs on Friday at 9:00 pm in the United States on the CW and premiered on September 24, 2010.Sam and Dean were caught in between the plan of Angels and Demons to fast track the coming of "the end". We are told last May that Matt Hughes died due to complications from a fatal injury at his home in Kansas. It was announced at the end of last night's episode of the Discovery reality show.

TMZ confirmed with Valley Center PD ... on May 14 they responded to a suicide call at Hughes' home. According to the police report, officers concluded Matt, who was still breathing, was drinking before the suicide attempt.

We're told Matt was taken to a local hospital -- but passed away 13 days later. The Medical Examiner's report lists "Hanging" as the cause of death.

Lil Wayne has been freed from jail after serving eight months in a gun case, emerging with a hot new album, well-wishes from a former president and a deepened appreciation for his fans.

The city's Department of Correction website said Thursday the Grammy Award-winning rap star had been released from the Rikers Island jail complex.

His managers have said he planned to head for his home in Miami, where they're planning a welcome-home party Sunday.

"I was never scared, worried nor bothered by the situation" behind bars, Lil Wayne said Tuesday through Weezythanxyou.com, a website he set up to give fans a glimpse of his life in jail.

Lil Wayne, who had the best-selling album of 2008 and won a best rap album Grammy with "Tha Carter III," kept his career in high gear while locked up for having a loaded gun on his tour bus in 2007.

His latest album, "I Am Not a Human Being" -- released while he was in solitary confinement in September -- hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart last month. He also was featured on a string of hits by other artists, including Drake and Eminem, that came out while he was incarcerated -- and he recorded a verse for the Drake/Jay-Z collaboration "Light Up" over on the phone for a "Rikers Remix" that made the rounds online.

President Barack Obama recently told Rolling Stone he has some Lil Wayne music on his iPod. And former President Bill Clinton praised the rapper's abilities during a phone interview with a Pittsburgh radio station Tuesday, adding that "what I hope will happen is that he has a good life now."

Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Carter Jr., pleaded guilty in October 2009 to attempted weapon possession, admitting he'd had a loaded, semiautomatic .40-caliber gun on his bus after a Manhattan concert.

He started a yearlong sentence in March but got time off for good behavior, despite a disciplinary knock that sent him to solitary for the last month of his term. A charger and headphones for a digital music player were found in his cell in May, jail officials said. The items are considered contraband.

Despite being behind bars, his album "I am Not a Human Being" was released in September and shot up to the #1 slot on the Billboard charts.

Lil' Wayne is lucky, in a legal sense. He faced more charges in Arizona but was sentenced to three years probation after a plea bargain. A "welcome home" party in Miami is planned for Sunday.

The list includes the name of Justin Bieber. Seriously, I have no idea why he's there. There have been speculations about his sexual preference and there are posts circulating the web saying he admitted he's gay. But if you search for it there are no concrete evidences that he really admitted it. So until now, whether he's gay or bisexual or straight is still a mystery.

While on the one hand the name of the singer is in conformity to the fact that all the other celebrities featuring in the list are from the music industry, there seems to be no reason to include the name of a male celebrity in the list.
