"The team renovates a building housing a Baltimore organization that provides a safe environment for children at risk, the storm threatens to hit tight schedule of the project's seven days. When the 2,000 square foot home of a single mother of nine caught fire in Pocatello, Idaho, breast cancer survivor Jane Marshall and her children were awakened by Betsy, the family dog. Thanks to Betsy, everyone was able to get out safely. To celebrate the Marshall-Spreier family's enduring human spirit in the face of difficulty, Ty and the "EM:HE" design team not only built them a new house in just seven days, but also found ways for some of Betsy's dog brethren to get involved in the transformation of this music-loving family's home."

Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is a sequence of Emmy Award-winning ABC reality TV began broadcasting on November 3, 2003 as an entity and as a television series regular since February 15, 2004, where a family home, as well as all exterior rooms, and landscaping, is made by a team of workers and designers in seven days, while the family goes on vacation.

It is a development of Extreme Makeover. The series is produced by Endemol USA (the people behind Big Brother, Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal, and other reality shows) in association with Disney / Buena Vista Season 8 Episode Green grass 1entitled Productions.

Then, the chosen family is briefly profiled; their nomination video is shown to the team (and to the television audience).

Ty then brings the team together in a huddle and leads them in a chant of "Let's do it!" Next, Ty and the design team visit the family's home and proceed to give the family a "wake-up call" (courtesy of Ty's infamous bullhorn) by shouting "Good Morning [family's name] family!" then introducing each family member. The team will then go throughout the house, finding out about the family's interests as design inspiration.

The family will then be sent off on a one-week vacation (where applicable, airfare is provided by Southwest Airlines, whose involvement is noted at the end of the show) while the house is renovated or demolished, depending on its condition and the family's needs. (One episode in season three did not include a vacation because the family's daughter was in isolation at a local hospital). As the family is taking vacation, they receive video messages via computer laptop from Pennington's camera. (The videos displayed on the laptop are superimposed on broadcasts to avoid both screen glare and the requirement of paying advertising royalties on the software used in the videos).

Beginning with Season 3, the demolitions have become quite creative; the team has used falling trees, tanks, and even monster trucks to accomplish the task where needed. In 2007, they used dynamite to blow up one family's old house in Wyoming. In 2008, a rather innovative episode showed Ty and his team rolling a five hundred pound bowling ball through the house to eventually demolish a family's "bowling-themed, Big Lebowski inspired" bathroom.

A local home builder (sometimes two builders) and community volunteers begin basic work (electrical, plumbing, roofing, and, if the house is demolished, framing a new one) while the design team begins designing the creative aspects of the house. Once the basic work is completed, the design team then will add the finishing touches. Ty selects a portion of the house to be his "secret room" (except in the case when the secret project takes place in the backyard), which no one is allowed to view prior to final reveal (with one exception in Season 4, which involved a commercial kitchen; the health inspector had to approve the kitchen and issue the permit before it could be used). Shows often feature design team members making a trip to a local Sears store as well as special guest appearances.

At the end of the week, the family returns to their home to see cheering crowds and the view of their home blocked by a bus (for larger projects, two buses would block the home). When Ty and the family give the order, originally, "Bus driver, hit it!" and later the much more famous, "Bus driver, move that bus!!" (or "those buses!!"), (Note: In the first two episodes, Ty and the family walked around the bus to reveal the new house) the family sees the end result of the team's efforts. Pennington's "secret room" is usually the last item featured on the show. Often, a child's bedroom (usually to a special-needs patient), the parent's master bedroom or a business room receives Pennington's special attention. Some episodes feature special gifts given to the family by outside parties. The show always ends with Ty saying, "There's only one thing left to say. Welcome Home [family's name], welcome home." This is often followed by applause from the family, design team, and whoever else is there.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS:

Rick unknowingly causes a group of survivors to be trapped by walkers. The group dynamic devolves from accusations to violence, as Rick must confront an enemy far more dangerous than the undead.

Rick receives some surprise help escaping from a tank surrounded by walkers, and hooks up with a resourceful survivor who leads him to other humans holed up in a downtown department store. The group is none-too-pleased with Rick, whose gunshots have attracted a rapacious rabble of zombies, and he is forced to come up with a gutsy plan to get them out of the city.

A group of survivors led by police officer Rick Grimes travel in search of a safe and secure home after a zombie apocalypse. In the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse, a small group of survivors travel across the country in search of a new home away from the hordes. Rick Grimes, who was a police officer in the old world, leads the group. As their situation grows more and more grim, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to do almost anything to stay alive.

"The Walking Dead" is based on Robert Kirkman's admired comic series. It archives the months and years following a zombie apocalypse. The Governor runs his local city, Woodbury, Georgia, as a dictator and tortures Rick (including cutting off one among his hands) and other members of his number, culminating in an all-out assault within the prison. Nucky interacts with several historical figures in both his personal and political life, including mobsters, politicians, government agents, and the common folk who looked up to him. The government also takes an interest in the bootlegging and other illegal activities in the area, sending agents to investigate possible mob connections but also looking at Nucky's expensive and lavish lifestyle for a county political figure.

Like the historical Enoch L. Johnson, the Nucky of the television series is the second of three crime bosses who head the Republican machine and use racketeering and power politics to control Atlantic City. However, Terence Winter has stated, "[Nelson Johnson's] book was really just a jumping-off point."

ABC gladly announced and just released the new Desperate Housewives Season 7 Episode 7 to all the viewers around the globe. Then Gabrielle told him that he's been lynching out with her husband Carlos. After that, Lee freaks out even more because that could imply problems for the both of them. He tells her that Bob has had a feeling on Carlos for a long time, and is very good at flipping straight men.

Gabrielle doesn't consider him. The clip caps off with Gabrielle saying, "Lee, I think I know my husband. He's not passing up these chimichangas for a plate of franks and beans." It was pretty funny.

By now everyone knows that horse racing's superstar mare Zenyatta came up just short in her quest for perfection, finishing a close second to Blame in today's Breeders' Cup Classic. Before the race there were countless articles proclaiming that a victory would solidify her place as an all time great, but despite not getting a perfect Hollywood ending to what is likely her final race her effort in today's Classic sure didn't do much to diminish her legacy.

Watching her race over the past few years has been one of the most pleasurable experiences during my lifetime of following horse racing. Her 2009 Breeders' Cup Classic win along with Secretariat's 1973 domination at the Belmont are #1 and #1A on the list of greatest horse racing moments of my lifetime. Trevor Denman's call of Zenyatta's victory is downright iconic and as he said at the time 'If she wins this she'll be a super horse'. She definitely did nothing over the course of the 2010 season to diminish Denman's assessment. Still, I wasn't ready to put Zenyatta atop horse racing pantheon of legends before this year's Breeders' Cup and I wouldn't have even if she'd won.

So where does she rank and should we even bother worrying about it? On one level, this kind of discussion is fascinating and part of what makes the fandom of any sport enjoyable. Wilt vs. Shaq. Ruth vs. Bonds. Howe vs. Gretzky. Ali vs. Tyson. Arnie vs. Nicklaus vs. Tiger. On another level, however, it's always going to be a futile endeavor. The NFL Network recently profiled their Top 100 players of all time–Jerry Rice won ahead of Jim Brown, Lawrence Taylor, Joe Montana and Walter Payton. Rice was no doubt the greatest wide receiver that ever played the game and deserves to be in the 'best ever' conversation due to the sheer number of NFL records he holds–many of which will never be broken. He's got a separate Wikipedia page just to list them all, and its worth a look for the sheer mind boggling volume of them.

Somehow, despite coming from the back of the pack, despite spotting the leaders about 20 lengths early, the 6-year-old mare was again passing rivals with ease and zeroing in on the finish line.

The 72,739 in attendance at Churchill Downs on Saturday came to see if history would be made in the $4.545 million Breeders' Cup Classic. Instead, fans were stunned into relative quiet as multiple Grade I winner Blame, a 4-year-old colt, defeated the previously unbeaten champion Zenyatta by a head in a finish that will go down as one of the most memorable moments in the history of the World Championships.

Of all the grand horses who have come to the Breeders' Cup with records and reputations on the line, perhaps none has done so with the kind of fervor that followed the charismatic Zenyatta, who is trained by John Shirreffs. Her 19 victories included beating males in last year's BC Classic on the synthetic surface at Santa Anita in Arcadia, Calif.

Lopez is the face of the future of Puerto Rican boxing following the footsteps of Miguel Cotto and Felix Trinidad. He is fast, accurate, and powerful. He is projected to be the very best the division has to offer and may be looking past the 35 year old Marquez. There are already talks of him facing Yuriorkis Gamboa for a possible superfight. Lopez is a smart fighter and if he takes Marquez lightly in this fight he will be in a world of hurt. Juanma has a glaring weakness and that is his chin. He has been dropped by lesser fighters and has a tendency to brawl needlessly. If he decides to do this with Marquez it might be an early night for him.

Lopez got his title fight in 2008 and didn't waste the opportunity, stopping Daniel Ponce de Leon in the first round to capture the WBO super bantamweight title.

He'll look to take advantage of another opportunity tonight against Marquez, who is widely considered a first-round ballot future hall of famer.

Showing the same confidence he did in his very first press confidence, Lopez casually stated this week he'd take care of business against Marquez before turning his attention to fellow undefeated featherweight Yuriorkis Gamboa (19-0, 15 KO) in 2011.
