Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2010 LIVE Posted: 12 Nov 2010 12:58 PM PST Watch Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2010 LIVE now! Filled with fragrance, many stars are showing their beauties during this show. Guys, here's another sexy video for you. Witness the Victoria Secret Fashion Show 2010 LIVE! For the full video, Just click the link below. Katty Perry seemed to be the Star of the Night. Katy Perry led the dance party that doubled as the finale of Wednesday night's Victoria's Secret fashion show, an annual parade of skimpy, sexy and over-the-top lingerie. In a yellow, strapless bustier dress covered in pink hearts, Perry -- who also wore the thigh-high boots that were a trend among the catwalkers -- fit right in with the likes of models Adriana Lima, Chanel Iman and Karolina Kurkova. Her other outfit was a purple bustier that boasted a bustle. Perry sang a medley of her own songs, including "Teenage Dream," "Hot N Cold" and "California Gurls," but it was Blondie's "Call Me" booming through the speakers that got the three dozen models bouncing around the stage. Blondie lead singer Debbie Harry was in the audience along with Serena Williams, Adrian Grenier, Nicky and Paris Hilton and Tyson Beckford. R&B star Akon got his turn to serenade the models, performing "Angel" during the section of the show dubbed "Heavenly Bodies." There were even a few dance moves between the singer and Lima, donning a $2 million bra encrusted in Diamiani diamonds and sapphires. Other themes were the exotic "Wild Things," the heavy metal-infused "Tough Love," the flirty "Pink Planet," the sports-themed "Game On," and the wholesome-but-not-really "Country Girls." For that, model Lindsay Ellingson put on a straw corset and Alessandra Ambrosio wore a high-neck chiffon baby-doll top with a super-low panties. Unlike most fashion shows, the clothes here are not all that important, but the elaborate signature wings and other props, including boxing gloves and peacock tails, add to the excitement on the runway. Victoria's Secret says that underneath all the sparkle, feathers and studs are some push-up bras and lacy bottoms that are sold in stores, but, really, who'd notice? Several catwalkers got their first pair of wings this year, which is a literal and figurative coronation of the brand's top models. They include Erin Heatherton, Lily Aldridge and Candice Swanepoel. The difference between some of the newer models and more seasoned VS Angels, however, is an electricity and warmth that was largely missing from the runway. Doutzen Kroes and Miranda Kerr sat out because they are both pregnant, and the company and Heidi Klum, who got the crowd going last year when she bared a toned, fit body just weeks after giving birth, recently ended their affiliation. Longtime model Isabeli Fontana did enjoy a fully engaging moment during this show when she strutted in a silver bra and sequin swim bottoms carrying an oversized barbell and tossed it to a group of bare-chested male gymnasts. TV audiences get a chance to see the action when CBS televises the show on Nov. 30. She's more recently been seen looking a little dishevelled filming her first acting role in the new Transformers movie. But Rosie Huntington-Whiteley was yesterday very much back to her glamorous best as she took to the catwalk for the Victoria's Secret show. The 23-year-old, who has been modelling for the American underwear giant since 2006, strutted down the New York catwalk wearing a gold and leopardskin bikini and bright turquoise boots. Posted: 12 Nov 2010 12:29 PM PST Who will win the battle? This is the BIGGEST FIGHT OF THE YEAR! Watch Pacquiao vs Margarito LIVE now! All people over the world are getting excited for another history making fight of the year by Pacquiao vs Margarito. Without further discussion, I know you just only want this - the FULL VIDEO. If you want to watch this, just click the link below for the full video. Watch now! The Manny Pacquiao vs. Antonio Margarito bout is one of those contests that will bring in a lot of casual boxing fans, as well as sporting enthusiasts who aren't too familiar with the world of professional prizefighting. In fact, it might bring in more casual fans than it will hardcore fans, who are a bit jaded at the encounter, rather than getting a chance to see a truly special bout such as Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather. Regardless about what you may think of the contest, here's a quick guide to Pacquiao vs. Margarito for those that are not too familiar with the world of boxing. Check out the list of the five things beginners should watch for in the Pacquiao vs. Margarito contest. 1. Manny Pacquiao's Speed Pacquiao has had an explosive rise to the top of the pound for pound rankings in boxing, and therefore, most casual fans associate him with power, and knockouts. But with Pacquiao, it's not about raw power, it's about speed and timing. He has lightning quick hands, and he also has darting foot and body movement, allowing him to come inside, unleash his own attack, and then escape danger. Pacquiao's speed advantage should be staggering against Margarito, a pressure fighter never known to be fast. 2. Margarito's Start to the Fight The way that Margarito starts the bout will ultimately determine how the Pacquiao vs. Margarito results play out. He has been known to be a slow starter in the past, but won't be able to get away with that against a fighter like Pacquiao. On the other hand, if he comes out strong and takes Pacquiao away from his game plan, pressuring him into the ropes and even landing a few big shots, he can swing the momentum in his favor for the rest of the evening. 3. Margarito's Chin and Durability The classic boxing axiom is that once a fighter has been knocked out, it's always easier to get the job done the next time. Margarito got brutally stopped in his last major fight against Shane Mosley in January of 2009. Before that, it was thought that he had a great chin, and would never stop coming forward. How will Margarito's chin be as he steps into the ring against Pacquiao, and when he starts getting tagged by hard shots, will he be able to keep on coming? 4. The Tactical Game Between Trainers Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach is a well known tactician, and is one of the most respected boxing trainers in the world. He always gives Pacquiao a great game plan for how to approach his opponent. Margarito's new trainer is Robert Garcia, who is much less well known, but has promised to exploit weaknesses in Pacquiao's game. Which of these trainers will give their charge a leg up in the battle, and which one will have the tactical change mid-fight that can turn the tide when things aren't going their way? 5. Size and Weight Pacquiao has made his name going against bigger and stronger fighters, but likely none have been as big and strong as Margarito. Pacquiao stands 5'6.5" with a 67" inch reach, while Margarito is 5'11" with a 73" reach. It's also likely that on fight night, Margarito will weigh 10 to 15 pounds more than Pacquiao does, after rehydrating from the weigh-in. The size and weight disparity will be huge, but will it make Margarito that much slower, or will it make Pacquiao's aggression less effective and powerful? The answer here may determine the outcome of the fight. The question will remain unanswered if you will not watch their match. So what are you waiting for? Watch Pacquiao vs Margarito LIVE now! |
Sanctuary Season 3 Episode 5 WATCH FREE Posted: 12 Nov 2010 09:56 AM PST Welcome to the SANCTUARY! Watch Sanctuary Season 3 Episode 5 now! This is another series that will give you more than what you expected. This is really a series worth watching for. I know that you have been an avid fan of this series because of its supernatural story. Well, you better catch the latest episode of Sanctuary here. If you want the full video, the link below will lead you onto it. Just click the link now! The newest episode of SANCTUARY Season 3 Episode 5 is titled "Hero II: Broken Arrow" which airs Friday November 12 at 10pm on Syfy. Here is what we can expect in the episode: Will and Kate are hijacked at gunpoint while transporting Abnormals to an off-site storage facility, but the gunmen aren't looking for money. Have you ever watched Sanctuary? If not, this is the time for you to discover the beauty inside the sanctuary world. The actions are very much appreciated by many. The story is more interesting than the others. Anyway, here's the full story of the series: ''Sanctuary'' follows the exploits of Dr. Helen Magnus (Amanda Tapping) and her quest to protect various cryptids, legends, and normal animals/people with certain extraordinary powers and abilities – what most people would consider monsters. "The Sanctuary" serves as a safe haven for these "Abnormals". She is initially aided in her quest by her reluctant protégé Will Zimmerman (Robin Dunne); her intrepid, if somewhat reckless, daughter Ashley (Emilie Ullerup); the talkative lycanthrope geek Henry Foss (Ryan Robbins), a computer and security expert; and her taciturn, Neanderthal-like assistant (unnamed, known as Bigfoot in the show's lineup), sometimes called "Big Guy" (Christopher Heyerdahl). The history of Dr. Magnus has been exposed during the first season, showing that in her youth she was trained by her father, a gifted Victorian-era scientist, to study the world and protect the unusal. Helen was a member of a group of experimental scientists known as "The Five", which included also Nikola Tesla, Nigel Griffin, Dr. James Watson, and Magnus's lover John Druitt (Christopher Heyerdahl, who also plays the Big Guy), who wanted to push the boundaries of their understanding of the physical world through unconventional means. At some point during their partnership, Magnus acquired a vial of untainted vampire blood and used it in a serum that "The Five" injected into themselves. After the injection, they each developed Abnormal traits: Magnus experienced drastically slowed aging, and longevity with no clear limit; Nigel Griffin acquired the power to become invisible at will; Dr. James Watson's intellect was tremendously heightened; Nikola Tesla underwent transformation into a vampire, with the additional power of electrical manipulation; John Druitt developed longevity and the ability to teleport through time and space, but, already unstable, he was driven to give in to his dark impulses and became Jack the Ripper. The second half of season one introduces "The Cabal", a powerful shadow organization that captures, studies, and experiments on Abnormals, in the belief that the Abnormal population is a threat to the human species. During the first season finale, "Revelations", they test a small amount of a biological weapon named Lazarus that causes all types of Abnormals to become extremely violent, attacking anyone nearby and then dying painfully. This is part of The Cabal's overall plan to incite humanity against the Abnormals so that they can wipe out the entire Abnormal population and gain greater influence over humanity. They brainwash Ashley, and in season two, convert her into a vampiric supersoldier, using her as a template for a small army which attacks the Sanctuary network. Against all odds, Magnus and her teams stop them at the Old City Sanctuary, and Ashley, in a moment of clarity, apparently sacrifices herself. Her father, Druitt, hunts down and kills the heads of the Cabal, which seems to disband. While in spiritual plane Will sees two other avatars in addition to Kali, and meets Helen's father who passes on a message to his daughter. It is speculated that those are avatars of abnormals as powerful as Kali, one of which must have been the source of earthquake that stopped the wave started by Kali. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 9 WATCH FREE Posted: 12 Nov 2010 09:24 AM PST YEHEY! It's time for an anime! ZIRO is back. Again we will have an adventure to a larger world of extraordinary people. Watch Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 3 Episode 9 now! This is one of the best anime series in the world today. So you better watch it now before the story ends. If you want for the full video, just click the link below now! Well, Ziro's back. In this week's episode entitled "Hunt for Ziro", Ziro the Hutt finds himself sprung from the Republic's prisons, only to be hunted by both Cad Bane and the Jedi (in this case, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Quinlan Vos. The Ziro episodes seem like a multi-room extension of the original Star Wars cantina scenes – an eccentrically comedic undercurrent to break from the steadier drumbeat of galactic conflict, but with enough sinister gravity to tug at the direction of the entire storyline. . . . It's a sort of 'Bizarro World' funhouse mirror dimension, a wrong turn down a strange alley running along the mainstream militaristic highway. It's a colorful flight of fancy and insanity, to lend a contrasting air of 'normalcy' to the central story construct. Ziro's the ultimate spoiled brat, a bitterly resentful and unreasonably demanding megalomaniac – made even more threatening and duplicitous by his inability to inspire fearful obedience like his rival, Jabba. If Ziro is a campy funhouse mirror, Cad Bane is a quite different villain: Bane is a cold-blooded 'Spaghetti Western' movie bounty hunter – an unflappable contract mercenary who goes about his assignments with ruthless steely-eyed disregard for the damages inflicted to life and property. . . . He has a stoic tolerance for pain and Jedi mind-control tricks, and tireless reptilian patience. But he is not a particularly sturdy or athletically powerful creature, relying on mechanical aids and sharply honed wits for endurance and safe survival outside of his native environment. Bane is definitely an all-time favorite for me – from his striking design to his iconic and potent personality. There's such a playground of speech characteristics in his palette that make him a continuing series of spontaneous discoveries. It feels like a very personal original co-creation I can feel proud to be a part of. It's always a bit tough to get used to the idea that the clones are the "good guys." Before long, they'll be hunting down Jedi. And after that, they'll slaughter Luke Skywalker's aunt and uncle! But by following an arc reminiscent of Full Metal Jacket—think the comparison's out of order? Last season Clone Wars blatantly referenced Aliens, Seven Samurai, Night of the Living Dead, Godzilla, and Alfred Hitchcock's Notorious—it was hard not to root for hapless Domino Squad. EW readers, you've just taken your first step into a larger world. Okay, no, you're actually reading a recap of Star Wars: The Clone Wars' season 3 premiere. Considering it's one of the highest rated series on basic cable, it's a shame that Clone Wars hasn't received more recognition. All you prequel-hating naysayers really need to give the show a try. With bombastically tongue-in-cheek narration and a kid-friendly moral opening each episode, it's a return to the gee-whiz, B-movie spirit that defined the original trilogy, by which I mean it has more action and fewer monologues about the taxation of trade routes. Clone Wars' first two seasons found an admirable balance between accessible character-driven stories for casual fans who couldn't tell the difference between a Gundark and a Kowakian monkey-lizard, and in-universe references to spin-off Star Wars books, comics, and video games for die-hard Jedi wannabes. Most of "Clone Cadets" took place on Kamino's version of Star Trek's holodeck, with the Dominos trying to pass a particularly tough combat simulation, and finding it difficult to overcome their differences and work together. The moral of the episode was a simplistic one—one's individual talents are meaningless if you can't learn to work as a team, especially in combat. And, of course, there was no real doubt at any point about whether they would ultimately succeed. A couple of shots of the clones sleeping in row after row of wall-mounted cubbyholes seemed straight out of Brave New World. I mean, the Republic, that supposed defender of freedom and democracy, has grown, raised and trained these clones for the sole purpose of having them fight and die on their behalf. And what happens if a potential trooper doesn't make the cut? He ends up like former clone cadet-turned-janitor "99″—an unskilled laborer ignored by all. Ziro the Hutt was controversial when he appeared in The Clone Wars movie, and not only because he kidnapped Jabba's son, Rotta as part of an attempt to gain power, and briefly seized Padmé Amidala. Ziro was lambasted as a compilation of gay stereotypes, and, several early reviewers really hated him. Dave Filoni identified Ziro as a "crew favorite," though, and Annalee Newitz offered an early defense of the ambitious slug as a "a moment of pure weirdo campiness in a franchise known for being far too self-serious." Given such disparate personalities, Burton observes, it's easy to voice them, even in the same episode. It's actually easier to keep character voices distinctly separate, the greater the differences are in vocal placement, timbre and pitch. . . . When you've got voices that can be segregated, differently textured and expressed in differing musical rhythms, it's a snap to make a clean break from one character to another. Then, applying acting characterization – visualizing the unique 'soul' of the character within the parameters of voice – you really can speak as two entirely separate beings within the same imaginary space. PACQUIAO/MARGARITO 24/7 Season 10 Episode 4 WATCH FREE Posted: 12 Nov 2010 09:25 AM PST The FIGHT OF THE YEAR is here! It's another match that will make a history. Who do you think will have the belt? Will it be Pacquiao? Or Margarito? Watch PACQUIAO/MARGARITO 24/7 Season 10 Episode 4 now! I know that everyone all over the world is very excited for the Pacquiao-Margarito boxing fight this coming November 13, 2010. As the day approaches, it's getting hotter and hotter. I also know that you wouldn't miss this video below before the day of fight comes! For the full video of PACQUIAO/MARGARITO 24/7 Show #4, just click the link below. The two are parties spend more time preparing for the fight. And what's the most exciting scene for the fight is who will be knockdown first. Well, that's a very big question until now. No matter how you feel about the fight, it's on its way, and Pacquiao is the heavy favorite. Though significantly smaller than the 5'11", arguably at least two divisions larger naturally Margarito, the 5'6" Pacquiao's far superior hand and foot speed are expected to carry the day against an opponent who looked less than stellar in, albeit, winning a 10-round unanimous decision over Roberto Garcia in his comeback fight in May. Can Margarito pull off the upset? Let us assume, for a second, that he is, at 32, with a style that does lend itself to wear and tear and without a possible reliance on illegally loaded gloves, merely 80 percent of the fighter that he was before his downfall – but with that 20 percent lost compensated for with sheer determination. And let us also assume, for a second, that he will be fighting only 80 percent of Pacquiao, that other 20 percent of him resting in his congressional seat (assuming Roach is being sincere with his concerns, and not just trying to drive up drama for the fight). At that point, does size finally matter in a Manny Pacquiao fight? With his recent dominant wins over larger men at the larger weights, Pacquiao has made a near mockery of the historic importance of size in boxing (and really, fights in general). HBO Sports' groundbreaking "24/7" reality permission, which has captured 12 Sports Emmy® Awards, returns in October for its ninth boxing installment with 24/7 PACQUIAO/MARGARITO, an all-new four-episode, all-access series, it was announced today by Ross Greenburg, president, HBO Sports. Debuting SATURDAY, OCT. 23 (10:30-11:00 p.m. ET/PT), the series will follow two elite fighters at different stages – the brilliant Manny Pacquiao, in the prime of his record-setting career, and the reinstated Antonio Margarito, looking for redemption following his involvement in an attempted "loaded gloves" incident – as they prepare for their Nov. 13 pay-per-view showdown at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex. Noted Greenburg, "'24/7' excels when there is great drama and this fight has it. Manny Pacquiao continues to conquer new challenges in the ring and in his life, while Antonio Margarito returns to the ring having been through a very controversial episode that polarized many in the boxing community. '24/7' will examine all aspects of what has taken place since the night Antonio Margarito fought Shane Mosley. We will chronicle the suspension handed down to Margarito and the subsequent reinstatement process." 24/7 PACQUIAO/MARGARITO will provide exclusive behind-the-scenes access, along with in-depth interviews, as the fighters prepare for their showdown. The low-key Pacquiao (51-3-2, 38 KOs), who has grown into a worldwide superstar, hails from the Philippines, where he is a cherished icon and was recently elected to Congress. Margarito's (38-6, 27 KOs) climb to boxing's elite level is rooted in Tijuana, Mexico; he was among the most feared welterweights in the early part of this decade. This fast-paced series will capture the interactions and rigors both men experience in preparing for their contest. Making his fourth "24/7" appearance, Pacquiao is expected to surround himself with a familiar contingent of family and friends as he trains with trusted longtime associate Freddy Roach. Margarito is making his "24/7" debut. Margarito, on the other hand, is in no need of motivation as he looks to redeem himself by shocking the world and beating Pacquiao. And the episode reveals that, while many have speculated that Margarito will struggle making the 150-lb catchweight the junior middleweight title fight will be fought at, he is already at 158 pounds with four weeks left in his Oxnard, CA-located camp. Contrast that to his poor showing against Mosley, when, we learn, Margarito had to cut 35 pounds in a short 7-week camp before the 147-pound championship match. Physically, Margarito looked quite drained that night, and mentally he was as well, out of sorts following the fiasco that had taken place in his dressing room just a little earlier. This is a very funny and wonderful reality series because you will witness wierd experiences of a parent regarding with their children. If you are excited ti see this, just click then the link below for the full video of the episode. So? Watch it now! Only hours remain for an all new Supernanny episode will take place today at 20:00 on ABC. The episode title is 'Peterfreund Family'. In this episode, for the first time, Jo works with a family with a newborn when she encounters the Peterfreund family in Arizona. Parents Keith and Sonya are so overwhelmed with their three older boys, Jett, 5 Gage, 3 and Trey, 2, that they're missing baby Myles' cues about wet diapers, feedings, etc. Mom literally has to run through the house after the active older boys with Myles hanging off her arm, head bobbing dangerously. Keith is a flight attendant and travels frequently, and Mom doesn't have enough arms for all the work! Neither the parent is consistent about discipline, nor is their go-to punishment "saucing" the three older kids, putting a dab of hot sauce on their lips. As far as Family Reality shows go, Supernanny is considered among the top series on TV and it looks as though today's episode will please loyal fans of the show who've been tuning in since it first premiered in January 17 2005. Jo helps a couple in Arizona who are so preoccupied with trying to discipline their three older children—often by putting hot sauce on their lips—that they're in danger of neglecting their newborn baby. The series "Supernanny" is a reality television programme which originated in the United Kingdom about parents struggling with their children's behaviour. The UK version has aired on Channel 4 since 2004. The show features professional nanny Jo Frost, who devotes each episode to helping a family where the parents are struggling with their child rearing. Through instruction and observation, she shows the parents alternative ways to discipline their children and regain order in their households. Frost is a proponent of the "naughty chair" theory of discipline and is strictly opposed to spanking. The series has since inspired a number of international versions. The US version, which has aired six seasons on the ABC Network since 2005, is also hosted by Jo Frost. The show's US debut took place just weeks after a competing series Nanny 911 began airing on the Fox network. Now American families can tap into the secrets of this modern-day Mary Poppins in "Supernanny" on ABC. In each episode of "Supernanny," Jo observes how the parents handle their day-to-day obstacles with their children. Once she's assessed the pitfalls, she works with the parents, instilling her tried-and-true methods for transforming unwanted behavior. Then, after demonstrating just how well the new style will work and getting unbelievable results from the children, the parents must fly solo with the Supernanny techniques. The Winchester brothers will face werewolves as they investigate what seems to be a werewolf killing but turn out to be a skinwalker posing as a family dog who is taking revenge on his owner's enemies. After capturing the dog, he turns human and tells Sam and Dean that an Alpha skinwalker has created many sleeper cells that will rise on his command and kill their families. The only way to stop the mass murders is to find and kill the so called Alpha. Season six of Supernatural will be a season of mystery and shadow. Heaven and Hell have been left in complete disarray since the apocalyptic events of season five. And now, monsters, angels and demons roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape. And so Dean Winchester, who has retired from hunting and sworn never to return, finds himself being pulled back into his old life – pulled back by none other than Sam Winchester, who has escaped from Hell. The two reunite to beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn, but they quickly realize that neither are who they used to be, their relationship isn't what it used to be, and that nothing is what it seems. Creator Eric Kripke originally planned for the show to last only five seasons, but due to increased ratings from the fourth and fifth seasons, the CW network renewed the series for a sixth season. Kripke has confirmed he will not be returning as showrunner; however, he will still remain as a hands-on executive producer, leaving Executive Producer Sera Gamble to take over the reins. Gamble said the sixth season of the show will focus on the brothers' relationship. The season will steer towards the format of the early seasons with "lots of meat-and-potatoes closed-ended episodes, and...a season-long story arc to weave in". According to a press release by the CW, Heaven and Hell are now in "complete disarray", forcing Sam and Dean to reunite to "beat back the rising tide of creatures and demon-spawn" that "roam across a lawless and chaotic landscape". Filming for the season began with the Ackles-directed fourth episode, "Weekend at Bobby's", to give the actor enough time for preproduction. Misha Collins will return as series regular Castiel, as will Jim Beaver as Bobby Singer. Mitch Pileggi will make multiple appearances as Sam and Dean's grandfather. The recurring role of Christian, the maternal cousin of Sam and Dean, was given to Corin Nemec; he is described as "capable, calm under pressure, and very good at his job". Kim Rhodes will return as Sheriff Jody Mills, as will Fredric Lehne as Azazel. The season airs on Friday at 9:00 pm in the United States on the CW and premiered on September 24, 2010. After seeing Sam acting strangely, what do you think will happen now that they're about to have a new mission? Watch and make your choice. What are you waiting for? The actions and mystery will always captivate you attention. The supernatural drama of Medium is worth watching for. The latest episode of MEDIUM is entitled "Smoke Damage" which airs on Friday November 12 at 8pm on CBS. In this episode, Allison's dreams of a woman trapped in a fire could provide crucial leads to a series of mysterious fire-related deaths. Also, as Devalos contemplates running for mayor, Allison ponders her own professional future. Medium is an American paranormal and dramatic television series that premiered on NBC on January 3, 2005. Its lead character is Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette), a medium who works as a consultant for the Phoenix, Arizona district attorney's office. Allison is married to loving husband Joe DuBois. They are the parents of three daughters, all of whom inherited Allison's gift. The original premise of the show was based on the reported experiences of medium Allison DuBois, who has worked with law enforcement agencies across the country in criminal investigations. If you missed some of the episodes, have take a look below for the previous episodes and on how the story flows: Allison DuBois (Patricia Arquette) is a mother of three, a dedicated wife, and a law student who has had the gift of being able to talk to dead people, as well as foresee events and witness past events in her dreams. When she begins working for Phoenix District Attorney Manuel Devalos (Miguel Sandoval) as an intern, she has a dream which relates to a murder in Texas, the successful solving of which convinces her boss and others working in the D.A.'s office – and herself and her husband – that her gift is real. The real challenge is initially convincing her boss, Devalos — and subsequently the other doubters in the criminal justice system — that her psychic abilities can give them the upper hand when it comes to solving violent and horrifying crimes, whose mysteries often reside with those who lie beyond the grave. Information on certain people or crimes comes to her in dreams or in cryptic visions which often do not mean what they initially suggest. Allison is often accompanied by Det. Lee Scanlon (David Cubitt), who initially did not believe in her gift. Allison often bends the rules of the law when she is determined to stop a crime about which she's had a vision. Additionally, Allison has helped and been helped by Captain Kenneth Push of the Texas Rangers (Arliss Howard), who is the first law-enforcement person to whom Allison revealed her gift, and Cynthia Keener (Anjelica Huston) of AmeriTips, a nationwide private detective agency. In season four, it was revealed that Cynthia had a daughter who was missing. Allison's dreams revealed to Cynthia that her daughter was dead. Cynthia made a choice to kill the murderer of her daughter and do time in jail. Keener later appeared in season five to help Allison on a case for the D.A. At that time, it was said that Cynthia has a couple more months to go before she is eligible for parole. During this season, it was also revealed that Lynn DiNovi (Tina DiJoseph, who also played the part of Texas Ranger #1 in the series' premiere), Lee's live-in lover and an assistant to the Mayor of Phoenix who occasionally is a liaison with the D.A.'s office, had become pregnant with Lee's child. In the season five finale, Allison discovers that she has a brain tumor located on her brainstem. In order to prevent the apparent brutal murders of her family in the future, Allison risked her life as she postpones the critical surgery out of fear that the surgery would prevent her from solving the case. During her operation the tumor was successfully removed, but her husband, Joe, is told that Allison is in a comatose state, with doubts of her survival. The last scene of season five on NBC is Allison in a hospital bed on life support. The sixth season premiered on Friday September 25, 2009 on CBS. In this episode, Allison had finally awoke from the coma and was now suffering the consequences for postponing the surgery. Aside from a non-usable right hand and a cane to use while she walks, Allison's abilities slowly begin to resurface (after four months) as a form of déjà vu. At the end of the episode, it is shown that Allison is slowly but surely recovering when her right hand begins working. Since the premiere of the sixth season, many changes have affected the DuBois family positively and negatively. Not only has their eldest daughter Ariel taken the role of a nurturing older sister to siblings Bridgette and Marie, she falls victim to a bodily possession and shortly recovering after Allison's help. After her emergency brainstem surgery, Allison gets back into her normal routine working alongside with D.A. Devalos and Det. Lee Scanlon, with possible side-effects of her surgery affecting her dreams. Also, perennial bachelor Lee proposes to Lynn after a long and stressful relationship. As the season progressed, Ariel's transformation from a young girl into a strong, confident woman was evident in the episode "Time Keeps on Slippin'", where she must solve a crime on her own in the future. A more shocking event occurs in the season finale, when Allison receives a letter from her Neurologist that she needs to be seen about her brain tumor. Meanwhile, Ariel also receives a letter of her own, when she is accepted into the University of her choice away from home. The horror begins when Joe awakens to a deceased Allison in their bed, having died from her tumor during the night. As the family mourns the death of their beloved mother and wife, Ariel is pleased to be contacted by Allison from the otherside, asking her to do one last thing for her before she passes on, but the challenge of succeeding was more than Ariel expected. The episode plunges into a dark and depressing territory as Ariel soon becomes damaged from the serious choices she must make. After giving up on solving the murder and deciding to follow her own path despite her mother's wishes, she begins to wash Allison away with every sip of alcohol. Ariel leaves Phoenix without notice and Allison feels she destroyed her family, taking one last chance to stop this mess. Suddenly, she awakens in her bed the exact morning Joe found her dead, but this time, she wakes him from slumber. Pleased to be alive and that all was just a dream, Allison learns the most important lesson of all, that everyone should follow their dreams and succeed. At the end of the sixth season, Allison, Joe, Ariel, Manuel and his wife, Lily, are seen celebrating Lynn and Lee's wedding, all toasting to their bright futures, ending the season on a high note. Season 6 Episode 22: It's a Wonderful Death: Allison learns her brain tumour has returned, and tragedy strikes when Joe wakes one morning to find she has died in her sleep. However, the crusading psychic refuses to let death stop her solving a murder, and pushes Ariel to take her place at Devalos's side, but the younger DuBois begins to resent being forced to continue her mother's mission. Supernatural drama, starring Patricia Arquette and Sofia Vassilieva Season 7 Episode 1: Bring Your Daughter to Work Day: After having the same dream about the subject of a recent case, Allison and Bridgette swap personalities. Medium Season 7 Episode 2 The Match Game: While investigating a series of murders, Allison begins seeing symbols floating above people's heads; one of Joe's employees accuses another of sexual harassment. Medium Season 7 Episode 3 Means and Ends: Dreams of his late brother haunt Scanlon, causing Allison to be concerned about her colleague; Ariel has visions of missing young women. Medium Season 7 Episode 4 How to Kill a Good Guy: During a murder investigation, Allison experiences more friction with Scanlon; Ariel deals with her siblings' reactions to her leaving for college. Medium Season 7 Episode 5 Talk to the Hand: When Allison gets a skin graft on her hand after it is burned, she wonders why the hand acts with a mind of its own; Bridgette keeps her role on the soccer team a secret from her parents. Medium Season 7 Episode 6 Where Were You When …?: When Allison has flashes to a specific time in the future, she feels powerless to stop a catastrophic event from happening. Medium Season 7 Episode 7 Native Tongue: When she becomes unable to understand the spoken word, Allison develops an unexpected friendship with a linguist; Joe reaches the limits of his patience being married to a woman who is a slave to her visions. Thursday Night Football LIVE Online Posted: 11 Nov 2010 08:35 PM PST Are you a football game lover? Well, here's for you. Watch Thursday Night Football LIVE Online now! It's very obvious that this game is getting hotter and hotter because this day, Thursday Night Football is trending on the internet. If you want to feel such excitement and tense, this is the best for you. Looking for the full video? I also have it for you. Just click the link below for the full video. Watch now! Thursday Night Football will give you fun that you've ever wanted. This is one of the very interesting game today. As you watch this game today, you will have fun and witness who'll gonna bring home the bacon. Cam Newton remains at the forefront of the college football world Thursday, while Baltimore and Atlanta clash tonight as NFL Week 10 gets underway. More allegations aimed at Newton have surfaced, with an ESPN report claiming that Cecil Newton told Kenny Rogers his son's decision would simply come down to money. Elsewhere, the NFL Network kicks off its coverage of Thursday Night Football later this evening. The contest features two of the best teams in football, with the Falcons emerging as the cream of the crop in the NFC South and the Ravens making noise in the AFC. Here's a closer look at those stories and what else is happening in the world of sports Thursday night. The Big East has become the laughing stock of the power conferences and what might have been a top 25 matchup on Thursday night between Pittsburgh and Connecticut, is actually a matchup of two teams that have combined for seven losses. The Huskies will likely be very lively – at least in the first half – on Thursday but this is a bad matchup for them. Their flaws fall right into Pittsburgh's strengths. UConn's offense relies on the run but Pitt's defense does not give up much on the ground. On the flipside, the Panthers are also a unit that relies heavily on the run but Connecticut's defense gives up 163.9 rushing yards per game, which is 76th in the country. This will be close for a half but Pitt runs away with as the game wears on. Today marks the first Thursday night football game of the 2010 season, and the matchup is nothing short of spectacular. The Falcons will host the Ravens in a battle of two teams often deemed the best of their conferences. In fact, this could very well be a Super Bowl preview. With two great young QB's, two stingy defenses, and two built and powerful running backs competing, there is no shortage of superb matchups to watch. That said, though, there's another matchup that everyone will be watching. Roddy White has, quietly, been the best wide out in the NFL this year. Yes, he hasn't quite put up the numbers that Hakeem Nicks has, or Calvin Johnson, or all those other big names of 2010, but he has been the most consistant. All of the big names have been up and down, posting huge games followed by dismal outings, but White hasn't. He's been Matt Ryan's most precious target game in and game out, and tonight should be no different, right? That article has good reasoning actually. White is hurting, after spraining a knee last week in what ended up being his worst statistical game of the year, but that's not everything. He will also be playing against a Raven Secondary that finally got its head screwed back on. Yes, Ed Reed is back and firing on all cylinders, single handedly making the Ravens a top passing defense. It's amazing, really, how important a safety can be to a defense. Look at the Steelers, with Polumalu they can't be touched, without him they fall apart… the Ravens are no different. Expect White's toughest outing of the year, pitting him and his ailing knee up against a young secondary that finally got it's mojo back, but don't expect a poor outing from the pro-bowl bound wideout. White is White, and Reed is Reed, they'll both compete furiously and awe us none the less. On paper, with White's injury, it looks like Reed has the advantage, but that's why we play the game. Expect amazing.Watch Thursday Night Football LIVE Online now! |
Posted: 11 Nov 2010 06:58 PM PST Watch Latin Grammys 2010 now! This is one of the big events today. Many people are searching for it in the internet only to watch this. And this is a bog opportunity for you to land here because you can watch it live here. You will just simply click the link below to witness the Latin Grammys 2010 Live now. Watch now! What's happening in Vegas tonight is absolutely not staying in Vegas: The 11th annual Latin Grammy Awards will be seen live across North America on Univision. The ceremony will also stream around the world to anyone with Internet access and, in a couple of weeks, will air on CBS. We sat down with Tell Me More host Michel Martin to take a look ahead at some of the awards offered by the Latin Recording Academy. The Best New Artist group includes many different styles, but the guy we're excited about is Alex Cuba. He looks a lot like a young Sly Stone — big afro, nice sideburns. His music is driven by an acoustic guitar and a wonderful voice, and his engaging personality shows that he really lives up to the idea of a best new artist. He has incredible potential. For Album of the Year, you can see a handful of the usual suspects nominated, but there are two heavy hitters to watch. The first is Spain's Alejandro Sanz, for his Paraiso Express, and the other is Juan Luis Guerra from the Dominican Republic for A Son de Guerra. We bet Guerra will win; he studied poetry and literature in the Dominican before going into music, and his politically tinged storytelling makes his music infectious. Best Alternative Latin Song, a category filled with pioneers and new musicians. We suspect that Chocquibtown will win for "De Donde Vengo Yo." It means "where I come from," and the group comes from a region in Colombia called "Choco." Lash Fary. The name conjures images of a Disney character, one who might pluck a single eyelash and spin it into a mound of woven gold. Lash Fary does that, actually, in a manner of speaking. At the very least, he's the man behind the magic at Distinctive Assets, which arranges for the burgeoning gift baskets (or, more like gift luggage cases) for presenters and performers at major awards broadcasts. Tonight, it's the 11th Annual Latin Grammy Awards from Mandalay Bay Evens Center, to be broadcast on Univision tonight from 8 to 11. "This is a thank you gift because the artists who appear do not get paid," Fary says during a walk-through of the Latin Grammy gift lounge. The bags are left for the "talent" in suites, and this year's Latin Grammy is presented in split-level Load Runner wheeled duffel bags. Included are gifts from (leaning heavily on the official news release listing the companies) Chocolatines by Sweet Endeavours, Dr. Christine Rodgers Enpointe Skin Solutions, Live In Fitness Enterprise, Eclipse Candle Co., The Norton Anthology of Latino Literature, Pureology SuperSmooth, LaVigne Organic Skincare, O.P.I. Nail Lacquer, Triunfo, CureCeuticals, Hasbro games, Elbow Friend, Lisa Ashley Beauty, Baja Traveler and M Spa Beverly Hills. Summoning my gameshow host voice: "This is a prize package worth … $11,000!" "We wanted the value to closely match that number, 11, because this is the 11th year for the Latin Grammys show," says Lash, who is distinctively bedecked in a cherry red sweater, checked pants and leather-like sandals. "It's a way for them to receive something in return and also a way for vendors to make contact with artists." That's very important to many, if not all, of the companies contributing to the Latin Grammy gifting process. One face-to-face meeting can make a company. Four years ago in the gift lounge, Gina Alexander, founder of Gina Alexander Inc., met up with a woman who found her customized handbags and billfolds quite appealing. The woman was Janie Hendrix, sister of the late Jimi Hendrix, who today arranges for licensing deals for the Hendrix estate. Now, Alexander manufactures a line of Jimi Hendrix-endorsed handbags. She's also in business with Faith Hill, Kelly Ripa, The Black Eyed Peas, Penelope Cruz, Jennifer Lopez, Ashanti, Alicia Keys, Usher, Slash, Joss Stone, Elizabeth Taylor and Queen Latifah, among others. "Here, the artists come to you, and it can make a big difference in the success of your company," Alexander says. The gift lounge itself is free for the picking for artists, who can simply walk in and pluck a sample of whatever they fancy. This year, the selection includes products from Stride gum, Hallmark Sinceramente gift cars (equipped with audio!), Riveras Tostonera culinary packages, Starbucks VIA ready Brew Flavored Coffee, It's a 10 Haircare, Maleku Jewelry, Cha-Cha ChiC designer T-shirts, Golfjunkie apparel (worn by such stars as Joey Fatone and Boys II Men), The Burn Machine, Posh Life Bling crystal-embellished cell phone covers, EFX Performance energy-enhancing wristbands/necklaces, Gina Alexander customized photo handbags, the InStyler rotating hairstyler, LapFlap protective laptop mats, Dearfoams slippers and the Daisy Fuentes Collection. Obviously, there is no theme to the gifts. Though this gift process is in conjunction with a Latin-inspired awards show, the gifts could be for any audience. "Here, people are not attached to any demographic," Fary says. "They have international tastes." The spoil of riches is really Christmas early and seems the ideal opportunity for such stars as Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez to perform some re-gifting artistry. That's fine with Fary. "We're actually big fans of re-gifting," he says. "Some of these artists, probably most of them, can't just go shopping without being distracted by fans. So, we say, go for it." Announced today is an appearance during the Latin Grammys telecast by performers from "Le Reve." A total of 32 performers will join Anthony, Camila and Juan Luis Guerra for what is described as a "surreal, elaborate montage of scenes" from the production. Opening the show will be the less surreal and not-so-elaborate but far louder and boisterous guys from Recycled Percussion. Longtime friend of the column, and friend of the guy writing the column, Kelly Clinton has recovered from a broken toe to finally join the cast of "Nunsense" at Las Vegas Hilton. She joined the cast Sunday. I feel she should go off the script and leap into her great Elvis impression. Or, her Bill Fayne impression. Maybe her Wayne Newton impression … but anyway, Kelly is worth seeing in any costume, including that of a nun. You better watch it now! Watch Latin Grammys 2010 LIVE now! |
