The third season puts the focus back on basketball and features the arrival of trouble-maker Rachel Gatina (Danneel Harris), who stirs drama in the Brooke-Lucas romance, the resurfacing of Peyton's romantic feelings for Lucas, Jake and Peyton's relationship drawing to a close, while Nathan and Haley reconcile and plan a wedding. Chris Keller exits the season permanently. Dan has a major subplot trying to solve the murder attempt made on his life during the previous season's cliffhanger. A major episode involving most of the main cast in a hostage situation at Tree Hill High ("With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired Souls, We Slept") culminates with Peyton getting shot in the leg and almost dying due to significant blood loss, and Dan murdering Keith.

The fourth season features the second infamous Brooke-Lucas-Peyton love triangle. Haley's pregnancy is threatened by Nathan's risky forays into gambling and loan sharks. Peyton is stalked by an impostor (referred to as Psycho Derek by the group) posing as her half-brother Derek. Lucas and the real Derek come and save her. Lucas looks for the truth behind his uncle's death, as visions of Keith lead him to suspect Jimmy did not kill him, while Dan is rekindling his romance with Karen. It also sees Lucas and Peyton entering into an official romantic relationship, the Chase Adams (Stephen Colletti) and Brooke romance, and the growing friendship between Brooke and Rachel. Chris Keller makes an appearance, and the group enjoy a "real prom" after theirs is ruined by incidents such as further interactions with Psycho Derek. The season builds up to Lucas discovering Dan killed Keith, the group's graduation from high school and Haley and Karen having their babies.

The fifth season jumps forward in time four-plus years. The gap is sometimes shown in flashback as the characters struggle with adulthood and return to the town of Tree Hill for various reasons. Lucas, a published author, is in a committed relationship with his editor, Lindsey Strauss (Michaela McManus), which becomes a love triangle when Peyton returns from a failed music career in Los Angeles. The marriage of Nathan and Haley goes into crisis as Nathan faces major depression after being seriously injured. Brooke looks for life beyond success in her work life and helps Peyton launch a music label. Lucas and Skills return to the Tree Hill Ravens as coaches and later asks Nathan to help with hot shot player Quentin.

The sixth season features the progression of the romance between Lucas and Peyton, as they plan a wedding and deal with Peyton's dangerous pregnancy. Brooke takes in a foster child, Sam, and fights her mother for control of her company. A major storyline follows Lucas as his book is optioned for a film, and Julian Baker (Austin Nichols) is introduced. Mouth and Millicent Huxtable (Lisa Goldstein) work on their relationship as Nathan and Haley reach for their individual dreams.

The title of the episode will be Turning and Turning. That sounds a cycle but it will go deeper than that. This will be very wonderful!

According to the summary of the show, "To help Gemma, SAMCRO and Abel, Jax conspires with an unlikely source. Meanwhile, the MC puts Chucky undercover," it reminds us that the latest episode will be very intense.

Club members wear vests known as "kuttes" (jacket with the sleeves cut off). The SOA patch on the back is a grim reaper wielding an M-16 with a bloody scythe blade and holding a crystal ball with the anarchy "A". Only full members can wear the "patch". Other smaller patches on the vest stand for different things, examples being "Men Of Mayhem", which is worn by club members who have spilled blood on the club's behalf, and "First 9", worn by the original nine members of SOA. Jax has also worn a baseball cap that says "Reaper Crew", and at least two female characters affiliated with the club (Gemma, Tara) have crow tattoos. The Sons ride customized Harley-Davidson Dynas. Club members have "day jobs" in local industries, most of them working at the Teller-Morrow garage, but they primarily make money by illegally importing weapons, modifying and selling them to drug gangs in the East Bay, along with protection runs for local businesses by protecting valuable truck shipments from hijacking.

SAMCRO keeps meth traffickers and drug dealers out of Charming, which puts them at odds with the meth-distributing white supremacist Nords, headed by Ernest Darby. SAMCRO also has to deal with a rival Oakland-based motorcycle club (MC), the Mayans led by Marcus Alvarez. Other groups in SAMCRO's orbit include the San Francisco–based Chinese mafia Lin Triad, led by Henry Lin, the Italian American Cacuzza crime family, the True IRA of Ireland, which supplies them with illegal Russian-made guns, the "One-Niners", an African American street gang (who also appeared on The Shield, thus possibly putting the two in the same fictional universe) to whom SAMCRO sell weapons, and various affiliates in the state prison system, where many members of the club have been incarcerated at one time or another. The club operates out of a clubhouse on the same lot as the Teller-Morrow auto shop. The clubhouse includes a living area (where members sometimes crash for the night), a bar, a pool table, a kitchen, a workout room, and the "chapel", a room with an elaborate conference table made of redwood that has a reaper logo carved into the top. The club also owns a secluded cabin in the woods and formerly had a warehouse outside of town where they assembled the illegal weapons. John Teller and Piermont "Piney" Winston co-founded SAMCRO in 1967 following their return from service as paratroopers during the Vietnam War.[8] Six of the "Redwood Original 9" members were vets; Clay Morrow was the youngest of the original members. John died in 1993, and his widow, Gemma, married Clay. John and Gemma's son, Jackson (Jax), is Vice President of SAMCRO. Jax is also connected to Tara, a doctor at St. Thomas Hospital.

Sons of Anarchy is the story of the Teller-Morrow family of Charming, CA, as well as the other members of Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original Chapter (SAMCRO), their families, various Charming townspeople, and the various rivals and associates who undermine or support SAMCRO's legal and illegal enterprises. Sons of Anarchy follows the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club but also features a number of ally and rival gangs, such as the Mayans, 1-9ers, Nords, Real IRA and a white separatist group called the League of American Nationalists (LOAN).

The Sons Of Anarchy (SOA) is an outlaw motocycle club with many chapters in the United States and overseas. The show focuses on the original and founding chapter, Sons Of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original, referred to by the acronym SAMCRO. or Sam Crow. This nickname is also reflected in the original title of the show, Forever Sam Crow.The Redwood chapter is headquartered in Charming, CA, in a clubhouse adjacent to the Teller-Morrow auto mechanic shop. Led by President Clay Morrow, the club protects and controls Charming through close community relationships, bribery and violent intimidation.

Opie! After two episodes, it was great to see Opie (Ryan Hurst) finally cut loose in Sons of Anarchy Season 3 Episode 3, "Caregiver." The post-Donna story arc in Season 2 had done a great job in building up Opie's character. We saw that Hurst could balance the dark and destitute side of Opie's SAMCRO life with the caring side of fatherhood. But we've been sorely lacking in Opie action this season.

When Jax (Charlie Hunnam) needs to raise money for guns as part of the Abel rescue-effort, he turns to Opie's girlfriend Lyla (Winter Ave Zoli) to use her Caracara connections for a trade with the Chinese. Unfortunately for Opie, you can take the porn-star out of the movie but you can't take the porn out of the star. Lara decides to lend a helping hand and body in the effort to raise money for the club. Opie's okay with it at first, until he sees Lyla get down on her knees, ready to perform oral sex on one of the Chinese. Inevitably, Opie goes wild and starts an all out brawl with his brothers at his side. Although Opie is able to rescue Lyla from defiling herself, he is not able to help the club's money woes. In order to raise money for the guns, Clay (Ron Perlman) ends up cutting a poor business deal with the Chinese to give them a part of SAMCRO's gun trade.

The stand out line of Opie saga in "Caregiver" goes to Bobby (Mark Boone Junior). Regarding his relationship with Lyla, Opie says, "Every time I try to talk to her we end up naked."

Bobby replies, "Just marry her – that'll stop it."

Stephen King made a special guest appearance in "Caregiver" as the mysterious and creepy Cleaner.

Sons of Anarchy Season 3 Stephen kingTara (Maggie Siff) joined up with Gemma (Katey Sagal) to help her with Tig's (Kim Coates) gunshot wound. Tara decides to take sympathy on Amelia, the caregiver who Gemma tied up and left in the basement. Tara unties one of Amelia's hands so that the blood would start flowing again, only to be rewarded with steel cylinder (probably a fire extinguisher) to the head. It was a little predictable. Once Tara saw the victim, in was only a matter of time before she got duped. She still has yet to develop the same knack for SAMCRO living that Gemma has earned throughout the years. After Amelia worked her way free, she made her way upstairs to force Gemma against the wall with a knife. Tara miraculously appears and takes revenge on Amelia with a hit to the head. Of course, Gemma wasn't going to let Amelia get away with holding a knife to her throat. Gemma threw Amelia back against the opposing wall, accidentally letting the knife find its way inside Amelia's sternum.

Now, that Amelia's dead, enter Stephen King. He's the one man Tig knows in the area who can dispose of a body without leaving a trace. In a word, Stephen King was creepy. The writing played to King's eerie personality. As the Cleaner made morbid-withdrawn comments, Tig and Gemma just looked as if he was the most bizarre person they had ever seen. Their silent reactions heightened King's Lurch (The Addams Family) personality. It may well have been one of the funniest moments to date on .

Are Jax's eyes beginning to wander? It seems when Tara's away, Jax may want to play. One of the girl's at Caracara asks Jax for a ride home. The Caracara girls have been trying to get into Jax's pants since SAMCRO took over the business. Now, with Tara trying to be the new Gemma, Jax may be looking into some extracurricular activities. As Bobby would say, "Just marry her – that'll stop it." If Tara wants MC old lady role, she may have to give up something else.

Sons of Anarchy has been moving along at a moderate pace in Season 3. We've yet to catapult into the uncharted heights of adrenaline that the series reached in its second season. The hunt for Abel and looming issues with the law has kept the Sons home and out of trouble. The real threat lies a continent away in Belfast. While the Season 3 premiere ended on high octane, we still need that clincher episode to get fans fully invested in the new season.

The Good Wife is an American legal drama that premiered on CBS on September 22, 2009. The series was created by Robert King and Michelle King, and stars Julianna Margulies, Christine Baranski, Archie Panjabi, and Josh Charles. The Kings are executive producing with brothers Ridley and Tony Scott, Charles McDougall, and David W. Zucker. On October 7, 2009, CBS gave the series a full-season pickup, extending the first season from 13 to 22 episodes, later extended to 23 episodes. On January 14, 2010, CBS renewed the drama for a second season, which premiered on September 28, 2010.

The storyline focuses on Alicia Florrick (Juliana Margulies), the wife of Peter Florrick (Chris Noth). Peter, a former Chicago state's attorney, has been jailed following a very public sex and corruption scandal. Alicia returns to her old job as a litigator to rebuild her reputation and provide for her two children.[7] The series was partly inspired by the Eliot Spitzer prostitution scandal,[8] as well as by other prominent American political sex scandals, particularly those of John Edwards and Bill Clinton:

Michelle [King]: We came up with the idea about a year and half ago. There had been this waterfall of these kinds of scandals, from Bill and Hillary [Clinton], to Dick Morris, to Eliot Spitzer, to name just a few. I think they're all over our culture. And there was always this image of the husband up there apologizing and the wife standing next to him. I think the show began when we asked, "What are they thinking?" And Robert and I started talking about it from there. ... You know, what's interesting about a lot of these political scandals is that the women are lawyers, too. Hillary [Clinton] is a lawyer. Elizabeth Edwards is a lawyer. I think that got us thinking along those lines. That is, we knew she had to go back to work, and we had so many female lawyers to draw on.

The show was known as NCIS: Legend while in production (referring to the episode of NCIS in which the spin-off was introduced), and other names considered included NCIS: OSP (Office of Special Projects) and NCIS: Undercover.[9] Filming started in February 2009, with the characters being introduced in the two-part NCIS episode titled "Legend", the first part of which aired on April 28, 2009. This episode served as a backdoor pilot for the series, in a manner similar to the introduction of NCIS, which was introduced by way of a two-part episode of JAG.

Chris O'Donnell plays the lead character, G. Callen, a lead agent whose natural talent for undercover work is legendary. LL Cool J plays the role of Special Agent Sam Hanna, an ex-Navy SEAL, who works in the undercover unit of NCIS in Los Angeles, and is also fluent in Arabic and an expert on Middle Eastern culture. Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah are cast as a psychologist named Nate and forensic investigator named Kensi, respectively; Louise Lombard, who had been confirmed to play the role of lead agent Lara Macy, was not a regular in the new series, and the character was killed off during an episode of NCIS.

Rocky Carroll, who plays Director Leon Vance on NCIS, appeared in six of the first 13 episodes.[19][20] He made a seventh appearance in "Hunted."

EPISODE SUMMARY: Jim attempts to track down some elusive bank robbers, Stephanie looks into discovering the source of the family's newly acquired powers, and Daphne, trying to find a way keep the voices in her head from drowning out her ability to read minds, discovers that JJ has become a super genius but is hiding it from the family. Meanwhile Jim and Stephanie not only keep their powers a secret from the world but from each other too, as Stephanie discovers Jim has become a crime fighter and Jim finds out that Stephanie has used her new power of speed - after promising not to.

From comics to film to television, the superpowers shtick is far from uncharted territory. No Ordinary Family, ABC's new drama, which premiered last night, treads on this very familiar ground, though it may offer just enough light and family-friendly entertainment to make its mark this television season.

Show co-creator Greg Berlanti told BuzzFocus at Comic-Con that No Ordinary Family is like no other family show you've seen before. This claim is somewhat true, though there's no denying the obvious influence of The Incredibles and other superhero tales. Michael Chiklis (who played The Thing in the similarly themed Fantastic Four movies) is patriarch Jim of the Powell family. He's a regular, slightly emasculated guy that's just an average police sketch artist. He's a bit disappointed with where his career has turned out. Jim's married to Stephanie (Julie Benz), a brilliant scientist that is just way too busy for her own (and her family's) good. The couple has two kids, teenage Daphne (Kay Panabaker) and JJ (Jimmy Bennett), the former being the typical bratty socially-involved girl and the latter being an intellectually challenged.

Jim, frustrated that the family is quickly falling apart and have been too busy for each other recently, organizes a family trip to Brazil. En route, they crash into the Amazon River, but are able to escape without a scratch. Their airplane's pilot? Not so lucky. After the harrowing experience, they recover amazingly quickly and return home only to find out that something is different; they all have superpowers.

You can probably guess what happens next. The characters start freaking out to their newfound abilities and try them out in the most suicidal ways possible. Jim instinctively jumps in front of a bullet to save a colleague, just before jumping off of a building to see if he'll survive. Stephanie runs on a six-lane freeway to avoid being late to a meeting. All of this is far from groundbreaking material. What NOF does have working for it is that it offers a relatable family, with characters that people can relate to. Interspersed in all of that family drama is some light and fun humor. The show also subscribes to the now overdone mockumentary format, though the fourth wall breakage is later attributed to the Powell's hashing out their marital woes in a therapy session.

The good thing is that the series doesn't take itself too seriously, steering clear of the convoluted, time-traveling direction that NBC's superhero drama Heroes dared to take us in. However, as NOF does its best to establish relatable ground for viewers, it needs to be careful that the superpowers aspect is the sideshow and the story is the main attraction. Granted, the pilot episode featured a lot of set up, the characters themselves need to break out of their archetypical molds. Chiklis and Benz are just as likable as ever, but the writers will need to spice things up if we're to truly care what happens to this dysfunctional family.

The second episode will be a huge tell as to whether or not this show will sink or swim. With an unknown threat from Stephanie's boss looming overhead, the series will push itself past the origin story and settle into its steady state. Keeping things simple and fun is where No Ordinary Family can distinguish itself. If it does that, then it certainly has a chance. If it swims the treacherous waters of the cliched, selling the superpowers angle as its only trick, then it will not last long.

EPISODE SUMMARY: Glee club co-captain Finn Hudson (Cory Monteith) has an existential crisis upon believing to have seen the face of Jesus in a grilled cheese sandwich. Meanwhile, Kurt (Chris Colfer) also faces a crisis of his own, which results in Mercedes (Amber Riley) taking him to her church. Additionally, Burt Hummel will find himself in a life-and-death situation.

In Season 2, Episode 3, titled 'Grilled Cheesus,' 'Glee' club leader Finn freaks out a bit when he sees the face of Jesus on a grilled cheese sandwich. No, really.

He's not the only one dealing with spiritual issues, either. Kurt deals with a crisis that leads him to go with Mercedes to her church and gets all the other kids talking about their religious beliefs.

Also, an unknown cast member (we don't want to ruin any surprises) faces a life or death scenario. All this naturally leads to songs about faith, and the episode delivers with songs like R.E.M.'s 'Losing My Religion' and Simon & Garfunkel's 'Bridge Over Troubled Water,' as well as hits from Joan Osborne and Billy Joel.

"Grilled Cheesus" is the third episode of the second season of American television series Glee, and the twenty-fifth overall. Series co-creator Ryan Murphy predicts the episode will be Glee's most controversial, as it will focus on religion and what God means to the members of the glee club.

The episode will feature cover versions of R.E.M.'s "Losing My Religion", Joan Osborne's "One of Us", Whitney Houston's "I Look to You", Billy Joel's "Only the Good Die Young", Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge over Troubled Water", The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand", and "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" as performed by Barbra Streisand in the musical film Yentl. It will also feature a yet-to be-known Aretha Franklin song. All known songs were released as singles, available for download.

Zap2it's Carina Adly MacKenzie commented positively on Michele's "beautiful" rendition of "Papa Can You Hear Me", however expressed displeasure that Rachel had cried during her solo in three consecutive episodes, suggesting the producers give her a more uplifting song. She praised Salling's "Only the Good Die Young", deeming it even better than his performance of "Sweet Caroline" in the season one episode "Mash-Up".

Episode Synopsis: STARGATE UNIVERSE "Aftermath" Season 2 Episode 2 – When the crew's food and water situation become critical, Rush has no choice but to override the ship's controls and take them to a planet locked out of the navigation system. Meanwhile, Young and Wray disagree on whether to trust their Lucian prisoners.

Stargate Universe is set on the Ancient ship Destiny, which was launched from Earth, several million years ago. Several ships were sent ahead of it to seed the universe with Stargates. The Ancients had planned on using its Stargate to board Destiny when it was far out enough into the universe, but started looking into ascension, and other things before they made it. In order to reach this ship, an address would have to be dialed consisting of nine chevrons, a possibility that had been unknown in the previous Stargate series, due to energy constraints.

The series begins when a team of soldiers and scientists from present-day Earth escape through the Stargate to find the Destiny after their base is attacked. Many of its primary systems are damaged or failing, and they are unable to return to Earth or even maneuver the ship. However, the Destiny periodically stops to dial the Stargate to planets with necessary supplies to repair the ship, and sustain human life. The writers have discussed the possibility that each season represents a voyage of the Destiny through a different galaxy.

Stargate Universe is intended to appeal to both veteran fans and newcomers. It is planned to be firmly entrenched in established Stargate mythology without relying on it too often. Although it is planned to still have the familiar Stargate themes of adventure and exploration, the show will focus mostly on the people aboard the ship. SGU is intended to be more serialized than its predecessors, but the writers attempt to resolve each character story within the episode. There is a conscious effort to avoid making SGU too serialized, and the serialization should mainly stem from character development. The industry describes the show with the buzzwords "dark and edgy". According to Robert C. Cooper, the essence of the story is "that sort of fear and terror of a tragedy combined with the sense that there is hope for us in the basic ways in which human beings survive". The planned increased levels of drama are intended to be balanced with humor to avoid pretentiousness. The differences between good and evil are planned to be less apparent, as the ship is populated with flawed and unprepared characters who were not supposed to go there. According to Brad Wright, the show will "hopefully explor[e] the truly alien, and [avoid] the rubber faced English-speaking one[s]". There will be aliens, but not a single dominant villain race like SG-1's Goa'uld and Atlantis' Wraith.

"Stargate Universe" follows a band of soldiers, scientists and civilians, who must fend for themselves as they are forced through a Stargate when their hidden base comes under attack. The desperate survivors emerge aboard an ancient ship, which is locked on an unknown path and unable to return to Earth. Faced with meeting the most basic needs of food, water and air, the group must discover the secrets of the ship's Stargate to survive. NCIS returned for a seventh season on September 22, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. EDT and was followed by its spin-off series NCIS: Los Angeles starring Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J. On May 19, 2010, CBS renewed NCIS for an eighth season, which began airing on September 21, 2010.

NCIS follows a fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team (MCRT) special agents headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. It is described by the actors and producers (on special features on DVD releases in the United States) as being distinguished by its comic elements, ensemble acting and character-driven plots.

NCIS is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy, which includes the United States Marine Corps. NCIS investigates all major criminal offenses (felonies)—crimes punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice by confinement of more than one year—within the Department of the Navy. The MCRT is frequently assigned to high profile cases such as the death of the U.S. president's military aide, a bomb situation on a U.S. Navy warship, the death of a celebrity on a reality show set on a USMC base, terrorist threats, and kidnappings.

The MCRT is led by Supervisory Special Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon). Gibbs's team is composed of Special Agent and Senior Field Agent Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly), Special Agent Timothy McGee (Sean Murray) and Probationary Special Agent (formerly Mossad liaison officer) Ziva David (Cote de Pablo), who replaced Caitlin "Kate" Todd (Sasha Alexander) when she was shot by Ari Haswari (Rudolf Martin) at the end of season two. Ari was then killed by his half-sister Ziva at the beginning of season three. The team is assisted in their investigations by Chief Medical Examiner Donald "Ducky" Mallard (David McCallum), Medical Assistant Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen), who replaced Gerald Jackson (Pancho Demmings), and Forensic Specialist Abigail "Abby" Sciuto (Pauley Perrette).

It has been revealed through flashbacks that the 'original' head of the MCRT was Special Agent Mike Franks, who led the unit when it was part of NIS. He recruited Gibbs shortly after Gibbs' retirement from the Marine Corps, eventually retiring himself some years later. After Franks' departure, Gibbs recruited DiNozzo from the Baltimore Police Department's Homicide Section. The two were briefly joined by Vivian Blackadder, whom Gibbs recruited from the FBI. In the second part of the NCIS pilot, Blackadder allowed her emotions to nearly derail an anti-terror operation in Spain. Gibbs is noticeably disappointed, Blackadder is not present in the series' first regular episode. McGee first appears as a Field Agent assigned to the Norfolk Field Office. He uses his computer skills to aid the MCRT in subsequent investigations through the rest of the first season, until he is officially promoted with his own desk at the Navy Yard in the beginning of the second season.

NCIS is currently led by Director Leon Vance (Rocky Carroll). The first director seen in the series, Thomas Morrow (Alan Dale), left after being promoted to Deputy Director of DHS. Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) was appointed director after Morrow; she was killed in a shootout at the end of the fifth season, thus making Vance the director of the whole organization.

Celebrity Juice is a British television panel show produced by Talkback Thames and filmed at Riverside Studios for ITV2. The show stars Leigh Francis' alter ego Keith Lemon. Joining the comic every week are Holly Willoughby, Fearne Cotton and their Celebrity team members including Rufus Hound, who joined as a permanent member of Fearne's team from series 2 onwards (having appeared as a guest during the first series).

After leaving the hit program Miami Ink due to a dispute with her fellow cast members, Kat Von D moved back to Los Angeles to open her own tattoo shop and was offered her spin off. Initially, she hired her close friend Pixie Acia to be the shop manager, and also her good friend Corey Miller as the tattoo artist. After considering many more artists for the job, Kat hired Hannah Aitchison and Kim Saigh to work for her, as well. The cameras follow her as she opens the shop, while capturing everything that unfolds in between.

Each customer coming into the shop usually has a story or reason behind their tattoo. On occasion, even known celebrities make an appearance to get tattooed by Kat or one of the other artists.

Inevitably, as the show progressed, changes occurred. Kat fired Pixie during the second half of season 1 and then Kim and Hannah left the show after the season 2 finale. The first half of Season 3 premiered with a new shop manager, former Rock of Love competitor Aubry Fisher but was fired by Kat during the season premiere of the second half of season 3 after getting into a lot trouble with most of the people at the shop.[4]
Tattoo artist Amy Nicoletti was hired on a trial basis, but left to work at American Electric, owned by Craig Jackman.[5] Tattoo artist Paulie Tattoo was also hired and quit to go to American Electric, due to lack of work. Aubry soon joined the two of them as a "shop helper" at American Electric after she got fired from High Voltage when Amy and Paulie try to convince her in getting a job at the shop before leaving abruptly to pursue her dreams of becoming a make-up artist. She was later fired from American Electric as well.

Kat broke a Guinness world record on the show, tattooing 400 people the "LA" part of the LA Ink logo in 24 hours, giving the money raised to charity. The record was broken in June, 2008 by Kat's ex-husband Oliver Peck who tattooed 415 tattoos of the number "13".[6]

During the first half of season 3, Nikko Hurtado can be seen as a guest artist on the show several times while Kat's sister Karoline and her brother Michael also make appearances on the show.

After Aubry was fired from High Voltage, Kat hired Liz Friedman after going through several of the girls' resumes who were trying out to become the new shop manager. Liz was fired in the season finale of the second half of season 3 after being caught by Dan and Adrienne lying to Corey about Kat by saying something that was not true and giving him time off without checking in with Kat.

The eighth series of Strictly Come Dancing began with a launch show on 11 September 2010, then three weeks later the live shows will start on 1 October 2010. Three new professional dancers have been announced, The celebrities were revealed on 8 September 2010 and the professional partners were revealed during the launch show.

The show pairs a number of celebrities with professional ballroom dancers who each week compete against each other in a competition to impress a panel of judges and the viewing public in order to survive potential elimination. Through telephone voting, viewers vote who they would like to stay, the results of the poll being combined with the ranking of the panel of judges. For example, with four contestants left, the judges' favourite would receive four points, second favourite three points, and so on, and similarly with the viewers' rankings.[3] The profits from the telephone lines were donated to Sport Relief in series 1, and to Children in Need from series 2 to 5.

The show is broadcast live on BBC One on Saturday evenings, and it is presented by Bruce Forsyth and Tess Daly. For some of the second series, Natasha Kaplinsky stood in temporarily for Tess Daly while she took maternity leave. The judging panel consists of Bruno Tonioli, Alesha Dixon, Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood. Goodman and Tonioli commute weekly between Hollywood and London to judge both the American and British versions of the show simultaneously. Each judge gives the performance a mark out of ten, giving an overall total out of forty. The voice-over announcer is Alan Dedicoat. During series four, an hour long highlight show was shown on Sundays at 7pm on BBC Two, and during series five and six, the results show moved to Sunday evenings, although it was filmed on Saturday and then broadcast "as live" on the Sunday.

The singers on the show are Priscilla Jones Campbell, Hayley Sanderson, Tommy Blaize, Lance Ellington and Andrea Grant. The music director is David Arch. Lance Ellington and Tommy Blaize have been part of the Strictly since its beginning. In Series 3 Andrea Grant joined the singing team. David Arch and Priscilla Jones Campbell joined in the fourth series, and Hayley Sanderson in the fifth.

The show is broadcast from a specially constructed set at the BBC Television Centre. However, in the first two series, shows were also filmed at the Tower Ballroom in Blackpool, where the original Come Dancing series was filmed in the 1970s.[4][5]

In the second series, two shows were filmed at the Tower Ballroom, show five and the Grand Final which was broadcast live on 11 December 2004.[6][7] In 2005 though the BBC announced that they would not be returning to the venue for the third series due to "logistical problems". [8] In October 2008, Craig Revel Horwood called for the series to return to the Tower Ballroom saying, "the atmosphere was electric. It's huge and has so much history. The Tower Ballroom puts a lot of pressure on the professionals and the celebrities to perform to the best of their potential. What a wonderful place to go live to 12 million people. We have got to get the BBC to bring Strictly Come Dancing back to Blackpool." Eventually, the show did return to the Tower Ballroom, for series 7, where ironically Craig Kelly (who was born in Blackpool) was eliminated. The episode was aired live on 7 November 2009[9]. The BBC has confirmed that Strictly Come Dancing will return to Blackpool for the 2010 series.

House, also known as House M.D., is an American medical drama series that premiered on Fox on November 16, 2004. The show was created by David Shore. The show follows Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie), an irascible, maverick medical genius who heads a team of diagnosticians at the fictional Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital (PPTH) in New Jersey. Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi) is in his twenties, living in Burbank, California, working as a computer expert in the Nerd Herd at his local Buy More (parodies of Best Buy's Geek Squad),[14] a large retail consumer-electronics chain, with his best friend, Morgan Grimes (Joshua Gomez). Chuck's sister Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) and her now-husband Devon "Captain Awesome" Woodcomb (Ryan McPartlin) are doctors who are constantly encouraging Chuck to make progress in his professional and romantic life. At the beginning of the series, Chuck receives an e-mail from Bryce Larkin (Matthew Bomer), his former Stanford University roommate, who is now an apparently "rogue" CIA agent. When he opens it, the entire database of all the US government's secret information — a neural supercomputer called the Intersect — is subliminally embedded into his brain. Both the NSA and the CIA want the intelligence returned to them and dispatch agents of their own — Colonel John Casey (Adam Baldwin) and Agent Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski) — to retrieve the data.

Since the information was stolen by Bryce and the government's copy is destroyed in his attempted escape, and since Chuck experiences "flashes" of information from the database activated by certain triggers around him (such as faces, voices, in-context keywords, and various objects), he must use the knowledge he now possesses to help the government thwart assassins and international terrorists — upending his previously uneventful life. In order to preserve their safety, Chuck must keep his newfound occupation a secret from his family and friends, forcing Casey and Walker to establish an uneasy alliance and secret identities; Walker poses as Chuck's girlfriend and takes a cover job at a local restaurant near the Buy More while Casey reluctantly goes undercover as part of the Buy More team.

As the series progresses, it is revealed that rogue spies are engaged in a secret war with the legitimate intelligence community, and that Bryce stole the Intersect to keep the real rogue spies from capturing it. The rogue spies believe they can aid their cause by capturing the human Intersect or by building their own Intersect.

The government, meanwhile, wishes to rebuild the Intersect. This would make the Intersect in Chuck's head redundant, making him a national security risk, so Casey is secretly under orders to kill Chuck if and when he becomes redundant. However, the new Intersect is destroyed by Fulcrum, a rogue spy agency.

Chuck's father, Stephen Bartowski (Scott Bakula) comes into the picture to be there for Ellie's wedding which brings up painful memories of childhood for Ellie and Chuck. Chucks father reveals himself to be a former CIA agent and creator of the Intersect, he is captured and forced to create the Intersect 2.0. This advanced intersect includes flashes that include muscle memory, allowing the user to perform tasks they previously could not (i.e. martial arts, weapon expertise, and musical instrument skills), as well as the former functions of 1.0. A series of events leads Chuck to embed the new Intersect into his brain to keep it from being taken.

Chuck, Sarah and Casey all face professional conflicts as they grow to respect each other and a genuine romantic interest develops between Chuck and Sarah. Chuck's desire to maintain his close relationships and eventually return to a normal life is challenged by the dangers and growing responsibilities of his new secret life, and he gradually becomes a more competent, confident and willing spy.

As of Season 3, Chuck has willingly decided to become a real spy, to Sarah's chagrin. Although he failed "spy school," his effectiveness in the field has led General Beckman to give him a second chance and reinstate him as a member of the team, where Daniel Shaw is introduced to encourage his development as an agent. Chuck must now learn to balance his emotions to control the Intersect, which is complicated by his lingering feelings for Sarah. Sarah and Shaw begin dating, but Shaw is turned by the Ring. In "Chuck Versus the American Hero" Chuck is officially inducted as an agent by General Beckman, and in the next episode, Chuck Versus the Other Guy, he makes his first kill, shooting Shaw in order to protect Sarah. By "Chuck Versus the Other Guy" Chuck and Sarah return to a long-delayed relationship. Chuck's best friend Morgan Grimes also becomes privy to Chuck's "spy secret" and is inducted into Chuck's "spy team"; John Casey receives orders from General Beckman to train him.

In the finale of Season 3, Shaw is revealed to be alive and has downloaded the Intersect as well, and attempts to kill Sarah, Chuck and Casey, and compromise both the NSA and CIA. Chuck successfully thwarts this plan, although his father is killed and his sister finally discovers his double life. The side-effects from the Intersect cause Chuck to regain a childhood memory in which he learns that he accidentally downloaded an early copy of the Intersect into his brain when he was still a young child. The season ends with a retired Chuck discovering his father's secret spy base, dedicated to locating and protecting Chuck's mother and performing spywork that "governments are afraid to do."

Season 4 begins with Chuck and Morgan out of jobs and travelling around the world looking for Chuck's mother, Mary Elizabeth Bartowski, (played by Linda Hamilton). Chuck and Sarah begin to have troubles in their relationship due to Sarah's busy schedule. General Beckman offers Chuck a job again, which he rejects because of a promise to his sister about not doing any more spy work. Finally, Chuck's and Sarah's path come together on a mission and Chuck reveals his search for his mother. Sarah and Casey agree to help Chuck and Chuck decides to rejoin the CIA.

Future Ted states that during his early years as a professor, he had a simple goal: to give a lecture that would change someone's life. Ted believes he accomplished that goal, and recounts the story. In 2010, Barney surprises Ted one day by telling him that Goliath National Bank is reconsidering Ted's design of the new GNB building that had been scrapped before. Ted is intrigued, but decides he doesn't want to work for GNB, with he and Marshall likening them to the Galactic Empire. Barney seems to accept this, but later is seen to be ignoring Ted. Ted realizes Barney is playing him like he would a hot girl, as Barney really does want Ted to design the building. Barney's attempts to "woo" Ted seem to be working, as Ted finds himself wanting to accept the job more and more. Finally, Barney tells Ted they have already accepted another offer, with Marshall backing up his claim. Finally, Ted goes to Barney and offers to do the job at half price, but Marshall reveals they hadn't accepted another offer, only pretending to do so to convince Ted even more. Shocked Barney and Marshall had lied to him, Ted declines the offer again, but later while giving a lecture on an architect's unfinished work, he changes his mind and rushes to Barney to accept the job; he however forces Barney to take him out to dinner first, as Barney had stated he never took a woman out before "closing the deal" first.

Meanwhile, Robin reveals she may not have gotten over her relationship with Don as easily as everyone thought; having seen him on TV for a news show in Chicago, she ends up drunk dialing him and leaving angry messages. Lily tries to get her to delete Don's number, though at first she lies about it and leaves another message. Later she actually does delete his number, but ends up calling him anyway and leaving another message as she had memorized his number. Later, Robin attempts to leave him another message, but finds she has forgotten his number; smiling, she realizes she finally got the closure she wanted.

Season 3 begins with Beverly Hills being shaken up by an Earthquake as the main characters start out their senior year, signifying both emotional and physical trauma everyone is going through. Naomi went off for the summer to be alone in places, assuring her visits by promising people money from her trust fund. Going through the aftermath of her rape by Mr. Cannon, there's a part of her that dies and she longs to get it back by going to report the rape but then backing off from the decision from the fear of being called a sociopath. Meanwhile, Annie and Dixon are going through rough times after their parents' divorce and attempting to keep the family close. Teddy and Silver are happy to be together but in the Earthquake, Teddy damages his leg, which possibly could end his career in tennis forever. With all that going on in school, Adrianna is driving back from a summer of touring with the pop star, Javier, who later dies in a car crash on the way to school and Adrianna survives. Continuing with relationships, Ivy is still with Dixon but brings along her old childhood best friend, Oscar, who seems to make Dixon uncomfortable. Annie and Liam have feelings for each other but think of it best by putting it away so it doesn't interfere in their relations to others.

In an interview with E!, McCord revealed what she expected for Naomi after she was attacked at the end of Season 2.

As of 2010, seven seasons have been broadcast and the show has been renewed for three more seasons. Each episode is titled with a quotation from it. The show's 100th episode ("City of Great Racks") aired on October 15, 2007. To celebrate this, a casino-inspired party was held at West Hollywood's Pacific Design Center. Warner Brothers Television also distributed blue Micargi Rover bicycles adorned with the Two and a Half Men logo along with the words "100 Episodes." Each bicycle came with a note saying "You've made us very proud. Here's to a long ride together." The cast also gifted the crew with sterling silver key rings from Tiffany & Co. The key rings were attached to small pendants with "100" inscribed on one side and Two and a Half Men on the other.

Season 7 premiered on Monday, September 21, 2009 at 9:00 p.m. ET. CBS initially ordered 24 episodes for the season, but due to Charlie Sheen's personal life in recent months the episode order was cut down to only 22 episodes.

Season 8 premiered on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Based on the real-life scientific discoveries of Paul Ekman, the series follows Lightman and his team of deception experts as they assist law enforcement and government agencies to expose the truth behind the lies.

The season opens with Cal and Gillian hiring a new associate: former TSA officer Ria Torres. Ria scored extraordinarily high on Cal's deception detection diagnostic, and is labeled a "natural" at deception detection. Her innate talent in the field clashes with Cal's academic approach, and he often shows off by rapidly analyzing her every facial expression. She counters by reading Lightman and when he least expects it, peppers conversations with quotes from his books.

It was gradually revealed that Dr. Lightman was driven to study micro-expressions as a result of guilt over his mother's suicide; she claimed to have been fine in order to obtain a weekend pass from a psychiatric ward, when she was actually experiencing agony (which mostly parallels Paul Ekman's anecdote in his book Telling Lies).

For a small number of the early episodes Lightman would team up with Torres working on a case, while Foster and Loker would team up on a separate case. Occasionally their work would intertwine or Foster or Lightman would provide assistance on each others cases. As the first season progressed, the cases became more involved and all four of the main characters would work together on one case for each episode. This formulaic technique is often used in the first episodes of a new series to help establish the characters.

In addition to detecting deception in subjects they interview, Lightman and his team also use various interviewing and interrogation tactics to elicit information that is useful to their cases. Rather than by force, they instead use careful lines of questions, provocative statements, theatrics and healthy doses of deception on their own part. In the show's pilot episode, Lightman is speaking to a man who is refusing to speak at all, and is able to discern vital information by talking to him and gauging his reaction to each statement. This approach is also taken in several other episodes (e.g., "Do No Harm").

Gossip Girl is a teen drama, premiered on September 19, 2007 in the United States on The CW. Gossip Girl is based on the young-adult book series of the same name written by Cecily von Ziegesar, and was developed for television by The O.C. creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage. The series follows the lives of the young, wealthy social elite residing in Upper East Side, Manhattan, and is narrated by an unseen and seemingly omniscient character, "Gossip Girl", whose blog is widely read among the characters.

After the first three episodes were aired, the series received a full season order of twenty-two episodes from The CW. Due to the 2007–2008 Writers Guild of America strike, only thirteen episodes were produced. Once the strike ended, The CW announced five more episodes to be produced and aired in April and May 2008. Despite earning low ratings during the first part of the first season, it was announced in March 2008 that the series was renewed for a second season since it "hits a bulls-eye with The CW's target demographic of females 18 to 34" and the episodes are among the most downloaded on iTunes. When the series began to air again in April, however, The CW stopped offering online streaming on their website in an apparent effort to boost ratings though in July 2008 The CW decided to put back the online streaming of the show's episodes on their website again. On November 9, 2009, Gossip Girl went on hiatus during January and February in order to boost ratings with no repeats in the Spring. Life Unexpected took its timeslot. Gossip Girl returned on March 8, 2010 with new episodes through May to finish out its third season, and it's currently airing its fourth season.

The show's pilot episode was told almost entirely in retroversions to two different time frames. According to Nick Wauters, the show's creator, later episodes will use flashbacks more to develop the characters. "There will be big reveals and big clues in each episode," he said, promising that viewers will not have to wait too long for answers to questions raised. After the pilot aired, he and executive producer Steve Stark answered some viewer questions on their Twitter feeds, for example explaining that the fate of the plane will be disclosed early in the next episode. The characters also have Twitter feeds, and one has a blog, truthseeker5314.com, which may reveal additional information.

Near the end of World War II, an aircraft of undetermined origin crashed in the Brooks Range of northern Alaska. It carried passengers who appeared outwardly human but are not of terrestrial origin. They have some genetic differences and age much more slowly than humans. Most of the survivors were captured by the U.S. government and held in a secret facility nearby run by intelligence agencies, since they have refused to disclose much about their origin. The remaining survivors, who only sustained minor injuries, were able to escape the crash scene and currently live among the population.

President Elias Martinez learns of the facility's existence shortly after his inauguration and decides, after meeting the leader of the detainees, to release them and disclose their existence to the world over the objections of the intelligence agencies. His plans are put on hold when an assassination attempt on him is foiled by means beyond human technology. The CIA, realizing that this means there are other aliens, secretly plans to find and kill them. The agent chosen to head the effort is himself an alien and that fact is unknown to the agency. The aliens are divided internally on how to respond to this.

Caught in the middle of these events is Sean Walker, whose plans to propose to his girlfriend Leila on a Caribbean cruise are cut short when she mysteriously disappears from the ship. His investigation eventually leads him to uncover the assassination plot.
