The robots have kicked Megan Fox to the curb - or did the sexy starlet ditch them?

The dark-haired beauty, who has graced dozens of magazine covers since her breakout role in the first "Transformers" film in 2007, has been dumped from its second sequel.

Paramount Pictures has reported that they have opted not to pick up Fox's option for "Transformers 3," and according to Nikki Finke at Deadline.com, it was director Michael Bay who made the call.

"Giving Shia a new love interest [for Shia LeBeouf's character] makes more sense for the story," an insider said, according to Finke.

Fox's PR pals have come out swinging, however, in either an effort to get the record straight or peform a bit of career repair.

"It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best," reps for 24-year-old actress told People.com.

Fox likely earned Bay's wrath in September when she publically slammed the high-octane director, comparing him to Adolf Hitler.

"[Michael] wants to create this insane, infamous mad-man reputation," she told Wonderland Magazine. "He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he's a nightmare to work for."

Fox did note, however, that off the set he was nicer to be with.

"When you get him away from set, and he's not in director mode, I kind of really enjoy his personality because he's so awkward, so hopelessly awkward," she said. "He's vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he's a tyrant."

Sister Wives is an American reality television series broadcast on TLC in 2010. The show documents the life of a polygamist family living in Lehi, Utah, which includes patriarch Kody Brown, his three wives and their 13 children. It will also televise Brown's courting and marriage to a fourth wife, who herself has three children. One day after the series debuted, Lehi police announced they were conducting a bigamy investigation into the family. The Utah's Attorney General's office has not ruled out seeking criminal charges against the Browns, but stated they do not have the resources to go after polygamists who are not suspected of serious crimes such as child abuse or child trafficking.

SUMMARY: Five-0 is tasked with tracking down a violent convict after he breaks from an Island prison in search of his stolen money and kidnaps a young couple on vacation in Waikiki. Meanwhile, McGarrett's estranged sister, Mary Ann, arrives from the mainland.

The idea to bring Hawaii Five-O back to television had been under consideration well before the 2010 version was announced. The first attempt was a one-hour pilot that was made in 1996 but never aired, although a few clips were found years later[when?] and are available online. Produced and written by Stephen J. Cannell, it was intended to star Gary Busey and Russell Wong as the new Five-0 team. Original cast member James MacArthur briefly returned as Dan Williams, this time as governor of Hawaii, with cameos made by other former Five-O regulars. There was also an attempt was to turn the project into a film by Warner Bros. but that was also scrapped.[1]
On August 12, 2008, CBS announced that it was bringing Hawaii Five-O back to the network schedule, originally targeted for the 2009–2010 television season. The new version was to be an updated present-day sequel, centering around Chris McGarrett, who succeeds his late father Steve (Jack Lord's character in the original series) as the head of the unit. Ed Bernero, executive producer and showrunner of Criminal Minds, was to produce the new series, which he described as "Hawaii Five-O, version 2.0". It was also to incorporate most of the iconic elements from the original, including the "Book 'em, Danno" catchphrase.[2] This version did not go beyond the script stage.
In October 2009, it was reported that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci had signed on to write a pilot episode, with Peter M. Lenkov will serving as the series showrunner.[3] Production on the pilot was shot in and around Honolulu from February to April 2010.
On May 17, 2010, the Hawaii Five-O remake was picked up by CBS, which scheduled it for Monday nights in the 10:00 to 11:00 PM timeslot.[4][5] The news was good for the state of Hawaii, which hoped that the remake would pump life into its economy. Production of the remainder of the first season started in June 2010.[6][7] On June 24, 2010, the producers announced that it would use the warehouse at the former Honolulu Advertiser building as the official soundstage studio for the series starting in July 2010.

Beckett, an avid reader of Castle's books, initially disapproves of having Castle shadow her on her cases, but later warms up and recognizes Castle as a useful resource in solving crimes. Extreme Makeover: Home Edition (EM:HE), often incorrectly referred to as Extreme Home Makeover, is a reality television series providing home renovations for less fortunate families, hosted by Ty Pennington.

Each episode features a family that has faced some sort of recent or ongoing hardship – such as a natural disaster or a family member with a life-threatening illness. The show's producers coordinate with a local construction contractor, which then coordinates with various companies in the building trades for a makeover of the family's home. That includes interior, exterior and landscaping, which is performed in seven days while the family is on vacation (paid for by the show's producers), which is documented in the episode. If the house is beyond repair, they replace it entirely. The show's producers and crew film set and perform the makeover but do not pay for it. The materials and labor are donated. Many skilled and unskilled volunteers assist in the rapid construction of the house.
EM:HE is considered a spinoff of Extreme Makeover, an earlier series providing personal makeovers (often including plastic surgery) to selected individuals, which the Home Edition has now outlasted. This show displays extreme changes to help recreate someone's space. However, the format differs considerably; in the original Extreme Makeover, for instance, participants were not necessarily chosen based on any recent hardship, whereas the family's backstory is an important component of Home Edition. EM:HE also has similarities to other home renovation series such as Trading Spaces, on which Pennington was previously a key personality.
The series is produced by Endemol USA (the people behind Big Brother, Fear Factor, Deal or No Deal, and other reality shows) in association with Disney-ABC Television Group's Greengrass Television.

ABC receives thousands of applications from families in need and the team says that it is extremely hard to filter through the stories and choose only one of them. The families they look for must meet two criteria: First, they must be truly deserving and in need of the makeover, and second, they must be the kind of people who give something of themselves back to their community. The main theme of the show is advocacy, as each family that is selected helps to address a wide range of issues in American society. The show has helped families who have been victimized by a form of loss or tragic event, experienced a certain hardship and most of all, advocate on ways to treat, face and prevent such losses. The show has helped families of Veterans, single parents, families with children who have illnesses ranging from childhood cancers to HIV/AIDS, as well as children with mental illnesses and disabilities such as Autism. The show has helped families victimized by natural disasters such as Tornadoes and Hurricanes, as well as families who have dealt with house fires and mold contamination. Other instances include families who have either lost loved ones or had loved ones injured in car accidents (including alcohol-related incidents), domestic violence, gang-related crimes and drug abuse. Every episode makes a family stand as an advocate of awareness of such problems.
The majority of episodes are one hour; however, in some instances (mainly if complications are involved, or if the makeover involves more than just the family home) the episode will be a two-parter and will start at 7 PM Eastern Time (one hour ahead of its normal 8 PM Eastern Time slot). In the UK, some of the two-hour episodes air as one single program instead of as two separate parts.
Most shows in the first three seasons begin with a shot of Pennington in the team's bus saying, "I'm Ty Pennington, and the renovation starts right now!" The exception is those episodes which feature a guest host in his place.
In the fourth and fifth seasons, the opening shot is of Ty in a location iconic of the state the episode was in, and a declaration of what state the episode is in is added to the tagline. Then, the chosen family is briefly profiled; their nomination video is shown to the team (and to the television audience).
Ty then brings the team together in a huddle and leads them in a chant of "Let's do it!" Next, Ty and the design team visit the family's home and proceed to give the family a "wake-up call" (courtesy of Ty's infamous bullhorn) by shouting "Good Morning [family's name] family!" then introducing each family member. The team will then go throughout the house, finding out about the family's interests as design inspiration.
The family will then be sent off on a one-week vacation (where applicable, airfare is provided by Southwest Airlines, whose involvement is noted at the end of the show) while the house is renovated or demolished, depending on its condition and the family's needs. (One episode in season three did not include a vacation because the family's daughter was in isolation at a local hospital).[6] As the family is taking vacation, they receive video messages via computer laptop from Pennington's camera. (The videos displayed on the laptop are superimposed on broadcasts to avoid both screen glare and the requirement of paying advertising royalties on the software used in the videos).
Beginning with Season 3, the demolitions have become quite creative; the team has used falling trees, tanks, and even monster trucks to accomplish the task where needed. In 2007, they used dynamite to blow up one family's old house in Wyoming. In 2008, a rather innovative episode showed Ty and his team rolling a five hundred pound bowling ball through the house to eventually demolish a family's "bowling-themed, Big Lebowski inspired" bathroom.
A local home builder (sometimes two builders) and community volunteers begin basic work (electrical, plumbing, roofing, and, if the house is demolished, framing a new one) while the design team begins designing the creative aspects of the house. Once the basic work is completed, the design team then will add the finishing touches. Ty selects a portion of the house to be his "secret room" (except in the case when the secret project takes place in the backyard), which no one is allowed to view prior to final reveal (with one exception in Season 4, which involved a commercial kitchen; the health inspector had to approve the kitchen and issue the permit before it could be used). Shows often feature design team members making a trip to a local Sears store as well as special guest appearances.
At the end of the week, the family returns to their home to see cheering crowds and the view of their home blocked by a bus (for larger projects, two buses would block the home). When Ty and the family give the order, originally, "Bus driver, hit it!" and later the much more famous, "Bus driver, move that bus!!" (or "those buses!!"), (Note: In the first two episodes, Ty and the family walked around the bus to reveal the new house) the family sees the end result of the team's efforts. Pennington's "secret room" is usually the last item featured on the show. Often, a child's bedroom (usually to a special-needs patient), the parent's master bedroom or a business room receives Pennington's special attention. Some episodes feature special gifts given to the family by outside parties. The show always ends with Ty saying, "There's only one thing left to say. Welcome Home [family's name], welcome home." This is often followed by applause from the family, design team, and whoever else is there.

In Whitechapel, London in 2008 a series of horrific murders occur which closely resemble those carried out by Jack the Ripper 120 years after the killer first struck in 1888. Despite modern policing techniques including CCTV and DNA evidence, this modern day 'Ripper' "still manages to recreate the slaughter with alarming accuracy while mirroring the red herrings and twisted idiosyncrasies connected to the original case".

The murders are investigated by the three main characters - Detective Inspector (DI) Joseph Chandler, Detective Sergeant (DS) Ray Miles and Ripperologist Edward Buchan. A modern police force is fighting a murderer from the past, a murderer who was never caught and trying to prevent further murders.[3] Other characters investigating the murders include Dr Llewellyn, Detective Constables (DC) Kent, Sanders and McCormack.

Ultimately, Chandler manages to intercept the Ripper's final attack and saves the victim, but is unable to prevent the Ripper escaping. Unable to recreate the final killing, the Ripper commits suicide before the police can locate him, and without any clue as to his real identity the case goes cold. Having initially planned to fast-track his way into the upper echelons of the police force, Chandler instead decides to remain in charge of the police squad that investigated the murders.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: Summary: Spooks actor Rupert Penry-Jones stars as Joseph Chandler, a detective hunting a modern-day serial killer. The murderer he's after isn't an ordinary killer however; he's copying the murders committed by Jack the Ripper in the 1880s. With the help of self proclaimed Ripperologist Edward Buchan and DS Ray Miles, will they be able to catch the killer before he emulates Jack's final kill and is never seen again.

Jonathan Ames' writing is reminiscent of alt-cartoonist Ben Katchor, in that both men pay homage to the quirks and vanishing institutions of a major metropolis. The difference is that Katchor's visions are largely fictional, while Ames tends to explore real spaces. Much like the Ames-anchored HBO series Bored To Death, Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman's adaptation of Ames' 1998 novel The Extra Man is trivial, yet oddly ingratiating, largely because of its fascination with distinct breeds of New Yorker. Paul Dano plays a demure Jersey fop who answers an ad and becomes roommates with Kevin Kline, a dapper Manhattanite who knows all the tricks about how to live a life of luxury on a pauper's income. Kline knows how to sneak into the opera, and how to get invited to fancy parties, where he can serve as lively company to wealthy widows. He's also possibly gay, though he claims to find all forms of sexual deviance—and indeed sex itself—distasteful.

The Extra Man is kooky to a fault, and Dano is a major drag, with his soft voice and blank expression. But Kline gives a wild, wonderful performance, reminiscent of his work on A Fish Called Wanda. He's a man who knows all the secrets, though he's saving a few for himself. As Kline shows Dano how to navigate the decaying, increasingly arcane corridors of New York's high society, the mentor finds a willing apprentice: someone who's eager to justify his pathetic life by claiming to live by a code. The Extra Man stumbles whenever it brings other characters into Kline and Dano's orbit, such as John C. Reilly as a high-voiced hermit, and Katie Holmes as Dano's manipulative co-worker. They detract from the parts of the movie that work, where Kline teaches Dano and the audience how to be a bum—but a classy bum.

Directed by Albert Pyun, the film stars Christopher Lambert, Melissa Ordway, Kevin Sorbo, Lee Horsley, Victoria Maurette, and Jennifer Siebel Newsom, and follows a princess (Ordway) on a quest to unite the five greatest warriors to save her kingdom from a demon sorceress. But the odyssey to find them reveals a secret past for all.

It was back at the beginning of April – when I brought you our first look at the poster for Tales of an Ancient Empire – that I mentioned a trailer for the film was imminent. Well it took longer than expected, but here's the brand new red band trailer for the film, along with the FULL synopsis (beware spoilers):

The movie begins with two blood-soaked female vampires standing ready to do battle, swords poised to strike at some unseen enemy. We hear the voice of KARA, an orphaned slave (Victoria Maurette), as she tells us about herself and TANIS, the Princess of Abelar (Melissa Ordway). How their fates were tied together since birth. And how the future of the world "hangs in the balance." She takes us back to the moment when both girls learned of their destinies, "when a band of treasure seekers opened the tomb of a long dead vampire sorceress."

The pirates accidentally resurrect XIA, the vampire sorceress (Whitney Able), and she immediately attacks the Abelar to exact revenge for reducing her to dust and killing her sorcerer father. Within the palace of Abelar, preparations are made for the impending attack. Queen Ma'at tells her sister, Princess Tanis, that Tanis' "dreams have come to pass." Tanis was born with 'second sight' that bring her visions of the future. As Xia and her vampires completely overrun the kingdom, Tanis is shocked to learn her father is not the same as Ma'at's. She was sired by a mercenary adventurer who was the one responsible for defeating Xia 20 years earlier. Now, Queen Ma'at instructs Tanis to find her real father and bring him back to Abelar to destroy Xia. He is their only hope.

In another part of the palace, Kara, an attendant to the Princess, plans to escape with her lover, DERNIER (Xavier DeClie). He is a noble Royal Guard who has been seduced by Kara to abandon his duties to get her safely out of the palace. Before escaping, they are attacked by vampires led by another former attendant to the Princess, LEVANA (Jessica Delgado). Dernier is bitten and transformed into a vampire while Kara is captured. At that same time Queen Ma'at is killed by Xia, and Tanis escapes to a waiting ship. Using her sorcery, Xia destroys the ship with an enormous wave that rises and crashes over the ship, ripping it apart. Satisfied that she has destroyed all of the royalty, Xia fully transforms into her creature self as she retires back into the palace.

So begins the quest by two young women to learn the truth of who they are and why fate has chosen them to lead the battle for good and evil. Kara's quest takes her into the darkest realms, where she discovers she is Xia's child, half vampire creature, half human. Princess Tanis' quest to find her father leads her to half brothers like the charming but thieving rogue, AEDAN (Kevin Sorbo), and half sisters like a former emperor's assassin now bar keeper, RAJAN (Janelle Taylor). A family she never knew she had.

The Girls Gone Wild franchise, created by Joe Francis, is a video series by the production company Mantra Films, Inc., which is headquartered in Santa Monica, California.

The first GGW film was released in 1998. The films center around sexual activity, and always conform to the same formula. Girls Gone Wild videos usually involve a camera crew patrolling an area frequented by young attractive women, such as a spring break or Mardi Gras vacation resort, or nightclubs. The crews search for attractive young women who agree to expose their bodies for the camera, in exchange for a Girls Gone Wild branded t-shirt, shorts or cap. Usually the girls are encouraged to strip by crowds of onlooking young men. Women usually kiss each other and expose their breasts, buttocks, and/or vagina, and sometimes the camera crew follows a group of young females back to the GGW tour bus, a hotel or other location, and tapes them engaging in additional sexual activities. The company claims to only film amateurs, rather than professional porn stars. The camera crews are normally young attractive men, in order to encourage the girls, and they receive a bonus for filming particularly attractive women, or girls who have just turned 18.[1] Francis appears as the host of some of the films. Nightclub promoters pay up to $10,000 a night to host GGW film crews, as they ensure large crowds.

The Inbetweeners is a BAFTA award-winning British sitcom about a group of teenage friends struggling through sixth form at school. Written by Damon Beesley and Iain Morris, the show was originally produced for the television channel E4. E4 originally aired the first series in May 2008, and Channel 4 also broadcast it in November that year. The series, set in a typical suburb of outer London, follows Will (Simon Bird), who left a private school to go to Rudge Park Comprehensive due to his recently-divorced mother's financial troubles.

The second series began screening in the United Kingdom on 2 April 2009 and finished on 7 May 2009. A third series was commissioned by E4, and commenced on 13 September 2010. The first episode of the third series had the highest-ever audience for an E4 original commission.

The show has been nominated for 'Best Situation Comedy' at BAFTA twice, in 2009 and 2010. At the British Academy Television Awards 2010, it won the Audience Award, the only award voted for by viewers.

A film version of the series is currently being produced and sees the cast on holiday in Malia, Crete. Filming began on location in August 2010.

Weeds is an American television dark comedy drama series created by Jenji Kohan and produced by Lionsgate Television.

Picking up immediately where the season five finale concluded, season six finds the Botwin family fleeing north in the wake of Shane's killing of Pilar. Requiring a larger car, the family drives to their former house in Ren Mar to use Audra's. When they arrive, Nancy finds Audra and Andy stalked by an anti-abortion protester holding a cross bow. Reluctantly, Audra splits with Andy because he fled her for about five minutes. With nowhere else to go, Andy joins the family's road run.

When Shane joins a "Mommy group", he makes up a fictional story and alleges that "Avi" is his offspring while Avi's mother died in the Iraq war, which means he lives with his mother, an alcoholic maid. One of the ladies from the group contacted her brother-in-law who works for the state and said he, the baby, nor his mother's name was listed in their files. The women told Shane to tell them the truth, otherwise, they threatened to contact the Child Protection Services. This led to Shane replying in a scornfully vulgar language. Later on, agency officers come to the family's apartment and ordered to see the baby, to which Andy walks out of the shower nude, while holding the baby in his arms.

EPISODE SYNOPSIS: After acquiring an RV, Nancy lets Andy navigate the road and he leads them to Pioneer Town, a former western movie set now turned off-the-grid scab city. While Nancy attempts to get the lay of the land, she instructs the family to set up a mobile hash making shop inside the RV. Andy and Silas work on getting laundry machines while Doug and Shane try to obtain water.

It's clear that LaDainian Tomlinson, who was released by the San Diego Chargers last month, is past his prime. But that doesn't mean he doesn't have suitors now that he's an unrestricted free agent.

Tomlinson is in Minnesota on Thursday visiting the Vikings, and he reportedly has a visit scheduled for Friday with another team that lost a conference championship game.

Adam Schefter of ESPN is reporting that Tomlinson is scheduled to head to New York after he's done with his business in Minnesota, and that he'll pay a visit to the Jets on Friday.

That doesn't necessarily mean the visit Friday will take place, however. It's possible that Tomlinson could sign with the Vikings on Thursday and cancel his visit to New York for Friday. But the presence of another suitor gives Tomlinson some leverage.

Both the Jets and the Vikings could stand to add a veteran running back, as the Jets lost Thomas Jones and the Vikings lost Chester Taylor. The question is whether Tomlinson has anything left. Tomlinson will turn 31 in June and is coming off a 2009 season in which he had career lows in carries (223), yards (730) and yards per carry (3.3).

In 1970, as part of the negotiation for new television rights following the league's merger with the American Football League, NFL Commissioner Pete Rozelle negotiated a full schedule of games on the fledgling ABC network.

Sensing an opportunity to have the telecast be more entertainment-filled than just the game, television pioneer Roone Arledge made bold moves to enhance the telecasts. He incorporated heavy use of instant replay and in-game graphics, and most importantly hired a third man for the broadcast booth. And not just any third man, but controversial New York sportscaster Howard Cosell. Along with former Cowboys quarterback Don Meredith and former Giants running back Frank Gifford (who joined in the 2nd season), the trio helped launch the show to unparalleled ratings success. In most weeks in those early years, ABC would net almost 50% of the television audience on Monday nights.

Another day, another Miley Cyrus sexxxy video scandal. In her latest music video—we watched it so you wouldn't have to—a blindfolded Ms. Miley romps around on a bed in her underwear, and gets groped on the dance floor while only slightly more clothed. Not surprisingly, the Parents Television Council has already ripped the "Who Owns My Heart?" video.

"It is unfortunate that she would participate in such a sexualized video like this one," the PTC president tells TMZ, though really, is he surprised? He continues, "It sends messages to her fan base that are diametrically opposed to everything she has done up to this point," though we would point him here, here, here, or here for evidence that he's wrong on that point.
