Karen Owen Duke University List – Karen F. Owen Thesis – Some people, despite having a college education, aren't too bright. Another example of someone making a huge mistake due to the internet has occurred, after Karen Owen released a 'Duke University Fuck List'.

What was meant to be a mock thesis which used pseudo-academic language soon turned out to be a horror story for Owen, when her friends ended up publishing the list online. The list contained all the men that Owen was sexually involved with and a rating out of ten. Owen put this forward in what was meant to be a humorous powerpoint presentation that ended up making many males angry, along with Duke University.

Apparently, making these lists is a regular occurrence for University students involved in fraternities. The lists aren't meant to go public, however.

Owen spoke out, saying "I regret it with all my heart. I would never intentionally hurt the people that are mentioned on that."

The damage, however, has already been done. Anyone, anywhere in the world, can now see the list of the males she had been with. One day, if she has children, they will be able to see what their mother achieved in University: Being sexually involved with college athletes.

The Big Bang Theory is an American sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady, both of whom serve as executive producers on the show. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007.

Set in Pasadena, California, the show is about two fictional Caltech geniuses, one an experimental physicist (Leonard Hofstadter) and the other a theoretical physicist (Sheldon Cooper), who live across the hall from an attractive blonde waitress and aspiring actress (Penny). Leonard and Sheldon's geekiness and intellect are contrasted for comic effect with Penny's social skills and common sense. An aerospace engineer, non-PhD, (Howard Wolowitz) and a particle astrophysicist (Rajesh Koothrappali) are their equally geeky and socially awkward co-workers and friends.

The show is produced by Warner Bros. Television and Chuck Lorre Productions. In August 2009, the sitcom won the best comedy series TCA award and Jim Parsons won the award for individual achievement in comedy. In 2010, the show won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Comedy, while Parsons won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.

When the third season premiered on September 21, 2009, it ranked as CBS's highest-rated show of that evening in the adults 18–49 demographic (4.6/10), along with a then series-high 12.83 million viewers.[8] On May 19, 2010, it was announced that CBS would be moving the show to Thursdays at 8:00 ET for the 2010–2011 schedule. Roy Halladay Perfect Game

Watch the FULL VIDEO of Roy Halladay Perfect Game now! This is another awesome event in the sports history. This is very cool! You need to watch this!

Wow! Roy Halladay just pitched a playoff no hitter for the Phillies.

I'm trying to remember the last time I remember a no-hitter in the playoffs. I'm sure Sandy Koufax had some. No? Curt Schilling? No? The Big Unit? No? All those Atlanta Braves guys? No?

Okay! You're forcing Stan Silliman to Google. I'm too old to Google.

Don Larsen? The perfect game in the 1956 World Series? Geez, what was I doing October 8, 1956? Hmmm?

Game 5 was on a Monday so I was in school—junior high—in the Panhandle of Oklahoma. I remember a little of the series. Actually more interested in Darla of civics class, but that was my hormones talking. Darla was our school's Annette (of the Mouseketeers) except without the dark hair...and the big mouse ears.

On top of that, I had just seen The Ten Commandments the night before and little did I know my heart was about to witness two major events in back-to-back days. Really, how often do see the waters of a sea part and a perfect game, back-to-back?

Well, actually I only saw part of the perfect game and I can't really say I saw that much. I will explain.

I did have an interest in the Yankees-Dodgers series. It wasn't my Cardinals with Stan (my name) Musial but it did have two Oklahomans—Mickey Mantle and Dale Mitchell. After finishing algebra and heading to Phys Ed, Joe Clark came up to me saying he heard on the principal's radio a no-hitter was being pitched in the World Series and suggests we skip the final class, head to my house, catch it on TV.
102949015_crop_340x234 Jim McIsaac/Getty Images

I agreed even though I knew every time Joe Clark suggested a scheme, I always took the blame.

On the way to my house, Joe and I argued Doris Day versus Kim Novak. Both of them had the boobs. Not much diff but I favored Novak on the freckle factor. Didn't care for the freckles.

We hit the door just in time to catch the eighth inning. My mom didn't even know the game was on but we buzzed up the black and white. Snowy black and white...with a rolling bar. We couldn't find the GAME! Either the reception was bad or they weren't carrying it on a Monday afternoon in our part of the world.

We switched on the radio and you could hear the tension. My stomach started to knot. I got out my baseball cards to see how many of my cards were in the game. Jackie Robinson is up. Had his card. Grounds to first. Then Gil Hodges is at bat. Had his card. Lines it to third. Sandy Amoros is up. No card. Hits it deep, there's excitement, flies out.

Then the Yanks come up at the bottom of the line-up - Larsen, Bauer, Collins. Sal Maglie, the Barber, clips them, shaves 'em, strikes out every batter. If it weren't for Larsen doing the impossible, Maglie would have got praise for a special game. Maglie was the Debbie Reynolds to Larsen's Liz Taylor.

Now it's the ninth and our radio gets scratchy. Furillo, Campanella and Maglie are up. I get out my cards. I've got Roy and I've got Sal, no Furillo. Makes no difference as Furillo flies to right. Now Roy is up. He is one of my favorites and he can smack the leather off the ball.

Mom hears us screaming and walks in. Roy grounds to second. One more batter, Maglie! No, Dale Mitchell pinches. Not only do I have the card, but it's autographed. MY autographed card is getting ready to ruin a perfect game. OU's Dale Mitchell will be known as the guy who cost Don Larsen a perfecto.

Strike One. If Mitchell connects it better be a homer. Strike Two! He's pressing. No chasing a slider, he'll wait for a good one. Strike Three! A called strike three.

Joe jumps. Mom jumps. I didn't know she could do that. My cards go flying...and my magazine with Marilyn Monroe on the cover lands on top of them with Mom still in the room. I said my little heart might not handle two big events back to back—10-C and a Perfecto—let's make it three.

EPISD|ODE SUMMARY: With the latest case of a murdered bail bondsman, Beckett discovers that Castle's wild imagination and theories may be on the mark. Beckett's ex-partner makes a surprise arrival and Castle is forced to watch the two reminisce and engage in a little romance.

We've always seen Beckett as the confident, experienced detective. She can handle the toughest of criminals and has a sharp mind. But what about her past? "Under the Gun" dives into that question with the return of her training officer.

The episode offers up a bevy of suspects--including Beckett's former traning officer--all of whom end up in a huge standoff at a cemetery in search for the buried treasure. In a more serious procedural, there would have been a huge shootout, but Castle throws sand in the air and saves the day.

While "Under the Gun" doesn't do anything as emotional as Beckett finding her mother's killer, it has a fair amount of pathos with the realization that her idol is a criminal. Of course, Castle always stays on the light side and has some heartwarming scenes with Alexis.

Castle is an American comedy-drama television series broadcast on ABC and produced by ABC Studios. Castle premiered on March 9, 2009, and the final episode of the second season aired on May 17, 2010. The show was renewed for a third season with a 22-episode order that began on Monday, September 20, 2010.

Castle follows Nathan Fillion as Richard Castle, a famous mystery novelist who has killed off his main character in his book series and has writer's block. Castle is called in to help the NYPD solve a copy-cat murder based on one of his novels. Stana Katic stars opposite as the determined detective Kate Beckett. Castle, who becomes interested in Beckett as a potential character for a new book series, uses his connections at the Mayor's office and receives permission to continue accompanying Beckett while investigating cases. Castle decides to use Beckett as the model for the main character of his next book series, starring "Nikki Heat". Beckett, an avid reader of Castle's books, is initially disapproving of having Castle shadow her on her cases, but later warms up and recognizes Castle as a useful resource in solving crimes. While technically a drama series, Castle also features comedy and romantic tension.

Dancing with the Stars Season 11 Episode 5

Posted: 07 Oct 2010 04:01 AM PDT

Dancing with the Stars Season 11 Episode 5 is just a inch away from you now. Know more about the show and watch the full video now!

'Dancing With the Stars' attempted to add a storyline to the dances this week, but only half of the stories were believable. The band was having an off night. The vocalist mumbled some of the lyrics in Florence & Corky's waltz, there were sour piano keys at the end of Audrina & Tony's waltz, and the screeching vocals during Bristol & Mark's foxtrot were off-putting. They were some of the reasons why the storylines didn't work.

Pro Performance - Tom never actually explained that the dancers were doing a demonstration of the Foxtrot, Waltz and Samba. Several guest pros joined Jonathan, Kym and Dmitry. While there was a minor wardrobe reveal that previewed the samba dresses, it didn't hinder the performance.

Jennifer & Derek - Samba - Jennifer and Derek created an interesting student/teacher storyline. I liked that their storyline didn't take up all the beginning and ran through the whole dance. The beginning had a frantic quality that Jennifer's face couldn't hide, she knew there was something off and they never recovered. I thought Derek's jump was unnecessary and a waste of time. The samba roll was slipped in near the end, but only done once. It didn't make or break the performance, but it wasn't amazing either.

Len loved how the couple ran the story through the dance; part of the dance was wobbly. Bruno called her a cougar, but pointed out how she got tangled. Carrie Ann thought they were out of sync. Score: 24 (8,8,8).

Florence & Corky - Waltz - The couple decided to go with the obvious storyline from 'The Sound of Music' when they received 'Edelweiss.' The choreography was quite slow and pretty easy to learn. Florence had some trouble with her skirt whenever she needed to grab it. They ended with a very strong spin and it was nice to see some difficulty near the end of the performance when Florence was tired.

Bruno thought it was simple but effective. Carrie Ann loved how she danced with her heart, but Florence needed to push her boundaries. Len thought it was sweet, but she had no technique. Score: 20 (7,6,7).

Kurt & Anna - Foxtrot - The concept was trying to turn a bad day into a good one. The best part of the package was watching a 6'2'' former football player sit on a small chair and have a tea party with his daughters. The fake rain was really disappointing, but we liked the performance after Anna had intense speed in all her spins. She was so graceful that you could forget that Kurt was the focus of the dance. The little run the couple had near the end was awkward as Kurt shuffled along.

Carrie Ann saw great charm. Len thought Kurt's arm work was lacking, but everything else was fine. Bruno loved the story, but Kurt's arms were frying pans. Score: 23 (8,8,7).

Margaret & Louis - Samba - Margaret started her tour during the week and had to fit in practices in several cities in Canada. As the couple danced, Margaret was having fun during the whole performance even though she was slippery at points and then was dragged around during the rest of the performance. I was shocked by how her legs wrapped around Louis's and it showed there was some technique learned.

Len thought it started strong but she lost her timing. Bruno appreciated the pride, but her dancing was poor. Carrie Ann loved the whole story, but she went over the top. Score: 18 (6,6,6).

Audrina & Tony - Waltz - Audrina was worried that she wouldn't unleash her emotions (let's face it: Her acting in 'Sorority Row' was rubbish). I loved the story from the beginning and Audrina glided across the dance floor with an ease and grace. I still thought her face was a blank canvas. I lost the moment when the pianist couldn't hit the right keys.

Bruno was compelled by the story. Carrie Ann thought it was beautiful, but she needed to point her toes. Len was touched by the dance. Score: 26 (8,9,9).

Bristol & Mark - Foxtrot - I'm impressed by Mark's hip-hop in the beginning, but the set-up of the whole homeless guy took up a lot of time and they wasted even more with the whole arm up sequence. The song was too fast for the foxtrot that they were trying to do, so it looked like a wedding where couples would dance the same slow dance to every song that played. The final arm release didn't work because Bristol still looked confused.

Carrie Ann loved the movement, but the story didn't work for her. Len thought the dance was too contemporary. Bruno thought the execution was good, but he needed more acting. Score: 19 (6,6,7).

Brandy & Maksim - Samba - Brandy brought duct tape for her to listen to Maks's teaching. The couple decided to use 'The Bodyguard' for their story. Maks tried out his teaching skills, which seemed to consisted of him spanking Brandy. The opening was similar to their reference, but watching Brandy lip-sync was odd. Brandy listened to Maks this week because she got the choreography down, but I didn't get any more of the story past the beginning. I hated the ending where they walked off the stage.

Len loved the energy and rhythm, but he didn't get the introductory package. Bruno saw potential, her placement improved from last week. Carrie Ann attempted to spank Maks, but thought the dance was strong. Score: 24 (8,8,8).

Kyle & Lacey - Waltz - Shame on Lacey for not knowing who The Eagles are! Kyle's challenge was finding softness, and he was actually pretty good. He was gentle by the chair and he showed restraint in his performance. His shoulders weren't as bad as previous weeks. From a costume standpoint, I'm disappointed that Lacey was wearing pants, but she danced well. I wished she had a spin where she could have held on to her skirt.

Bruno loved the expressiveness. Carrie Ann was like a schoolgirl, but loved his arm movements. Len thought his footwork stayed the same and was still atrocious. Score: 23(8,7,8)

The Situation & Karina - Foxtrot - Karina wanted to make a 2.0 version of The Situation. My only gripe of the story was that Karina mysteriously walked into the time machine as well: Did that mean she was Karina 2.0? The Sitch's steps were really wide and their dancing didn't fit the tone of the song. He looked like he was counting and looked down several times, but continued to put in as much effort as he could.

Carrie Ann thought he made baby steps to progression. Len admired his passion, but the performance was bizarre. Bruno thought the performance was entertaining. Score: 20 (7,6,7).

Rick & Cheryl - Samba - Cheryl created a very easy story about a basketball loser finding a hooker. In the package, Rick complained that Cheryl was simplifying steps, but she explained that she has to see the steps while he was dancing to adjust them to his height. While the song was used before (Cody & Julianne's samba) this dance was definitely more fluid than Cody could ever have been. While Rick tried to use his abs as a selling point, I wasn't impressed at all: His height still seems detrimental.

Len thought his quality level improved. Bruno wanted more heat. Carrie Ann thought it was really sexy. Score: 24 (8,8,8).

Final Scores
Audrina & Tony - 26
Jennifer & Derek - 24
Brandy & Maksim - 24
Rick & Cheryl - 24

Kurt & Anna - 23
Kyle & Lacey - 23

Florence & Corky - 20
The Situation & Karina - 20
Bristol & Mark - 19
Margaret & Louis - 18

I can see Margaret still being safe because of her gay fan base. She managed to refer to a relevant news story and could possibly use that as leverage to keep her safe for a week. I just want to see what Margaret can get Louis to wear next week.

Both Bristol and the Situation should also have strong-enough fan bases to keep them going. I see the actual bottom two as Florence & Corky and The Situation & Katrina, with Florence & Corky getting the surprise boot. Who do you think should be eliminated? Leave comments below.

Three women end up in vises on 'Sons of Anarchy' -- Gemma Teller, Maureen Ashby and and even Agent June Stahl confront difficult if not impossible situations. One desperate man figures out a solution that could help all of them.

Below is my take on this week's episode of the show, and there's also a bit of input from 'Sons of Anarchy' creator Kurt Sutter. (If you've seen Tuesday's episode, the information is not spoilery; it just consists of Sutter's thoughts on a key development in the episode).

After confronting yet more obstacles in his search for his son, Jax Teller, a man who still has the occasional impulse-control issue, doesn't take the violent path. He thinks up a clever scheme that will give him time to find his son, take care of club business and, most importantly, help Gemma. And uf the deal goes down, Stahl will get out of the DEA doghouse and Maureen will have one less problem to deal with in Belfast.

Charlie Hunnam has been exemplary when it comes to playing Jax's rage, pain and anger this season. But in 'Turning and Turning,' he gave us a cool, collected Jax who realized that taking a baseball bat to Agent Stahl's car -- or Agent Stahl herself -- would not solve his problems.

Show of hands -- how many of you thought he followed her out of the hospital to either deliver a beatdown or at least a ration of verbal abuse? The thought of Gemma going to prison -- or giving up the Sons to avoid it, which she would never do -- must have been intolerable to him, and he's already dealing with an intolerable situation when it comes to his son.

But Jax has had to step up this season, not just in a leadership conflict with Clay and not just in armed or strategic conflicts with local threats (though they still remain a problem). As the show has expanded its scope, Jax's problems have gotten much bigger. The infernally complex situation that landed Abel in Belfast has forced Jax to grow up and call upon resources he may now have even known he had. He can't be a reactive youth anymore. He has to be a man and make some tough choices.

And if you think about it, this is not a solution that Clay would have come up with. Don't get me wrong, Clay is a very smart man and resourceful in a crisis, and he's been steadier and stronger than Jax has been at times. But the solution that Jax came up with was one born of a combination of intelligence and sheer desperation. Clay fights his way out of problems, but Jax realizes he'll have to bargain his way out of this one.

Not that he wants to help Stahl, but she is the only one who can really help Gemma or the Sons, much as they all loathe the federal agent. Jax is man enough to admit that she could be part of the solution to his many problems. If he gives Stahl what he's promised, the Sons have a chance of surviving the present crisis.

Now all Jax has to do is invade a foreign country, bring back one of its most fearsome leaders, rescue his son, and all the while the home front will be exposed to multiple enemies. What could possibly go wrong?

That's the thing: Jax's solution is sheer elegance in its simplicity, but it hinges on him being able to bag and tag Jimmy O, on Jimmy's home turf. The gun runner may have his share of problems in Belfast, but, speaking of resourceful men, Jimmy's going to be even more formidable enemy on the other side of the pond. The Sons, of course, have a chapter in that city, but who knows if those men can be relied on to help Jax?

It's important to note what Sons of Anarchy Belfast president Keith McGee does and doesn't know. He told Maureen that he knows Cameron Hayes arrived in Belfast with a baby (and he could have alerted SAMCRO, but he notably failed to do that, presumably due to his dealings with Jimmy). Does McGee know that Liam O'Neil, the club's sergeant at arms, backed up Jimmy's claim that Abel was not in Belfast? The Belfast president may not know that. I suspect that Jimmy cut a side deal with O'Neil to get him to tell Jax that lie. Why else would Cherry have found that stack of cash in O'Neil's clothes?

McGee is a wild card in all of this -- he may have known Jax was misled or he may not. He may side with Jax or he and the club may still be under Jimmy's thumb, at least for the time being. Maureen, however, is clearly unable to put the club first, given her True IRA connections. Like Gemma, she's torn between her commitment to the club and her family (in this case, her brother Kellan Ashby, a True IRA leader). But she also clearly views Abel as family, given her past relationship with John Teller. She's in one hell of a mess.

But there are divided loyalties all over the place; Jax will have to deliver on the deal he's struck with Stahl without letting the club know what he's up to; the competing Sons of Anarchy and True IRA agendas are bound to cause grief for Jimmy, Maureen, McGee and Kellan Ashby, not to mention SAMCRO; Clay's got to ponder leaving for Belfast even as his wife is handcuffed to a hospital bed; and Gemma is torn between her roles as grandmother and steadfast old lady.

On top of that, we're told that long-buried secrets will come out when Jax visits Belfast. We've seen Gemma in a lot of difficult situations, but when Jax announced he was leaving for that city, it's one of the few times we've seen real fear on her face. She and Clay are clearly terrified of what Jax will find out in Belfast. Will the history that Jax uncovers screw up his search for Abel or somehow derail his deal with Stahl? Or will it destroy his relationships with his mother and stepfather? Clearly it's something big, or Gemma, Clay and Maureen wouldn't look so anxious.

Back on the home front, there was a smoother integration of the non-Abel story line this week. The club's little escapade with the methbillies last week is bringing in not only some much-needed cash but also some intel on the Mayans and on Jacob Hale's machinations in Charming. Someone is buying up all the property in town, for reasons yet unknown, though it's reasonable to guess that Hale is behind it all. And just after Unser tells Clay he can't protect the club anymore, Jax and the others find out where the Mayans are processing heroin, the sale of which will cause that rival club to become much more powerful in the region.

Now that the season is really cooking, the Sons have more problems to deal with than ever. And watching Jax take on those problems -- and find out what kind of man and leader he is in the process -- is getting more and more interesting.

But Jax's deal with Stahl comes at a cost. I wasn't quite sure if Jax's deal with Stahl involved jail time, so I emailed 'Sons' creator Kurt Sutter to ask if Jax entered into that deal knowing, upon the deal's completion, he would go to prison. Here's his answer:

"More will be revealed," Sutter wrote. "But, yes, Jax will go to jail. The deal with Stahl will become their secret. It's in the vernacular of the scene. If Jax delivers Jimmy and gives intel to prosecute, Stahl will reduce the federal gun charges (minimum of 10, usually 15 years) to short time (under five). Then they all go to jail. He can't get immunity or they will know he ratted. Seeing his mother and Clay in such pain, knowing he needs to find his son, motivates Jax to take the risk of trusting Stahl to help his family and club."

The Sons Of Anarchy (SOA) is an outlaw motorcycle club with many chapters in the United States and overseas. The show focuses on the original and founding chapter, Sons Of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, Redwood Original, referred to by the acronym SAMCRO. or Sam Crow. This nickname is also reflected in the original title of the show, Forever Sam Crow. The Redwood chapter is headquartered in Charming, California, in a clubhouse adjacent to the Teller-Morrow auto mechanic shop. Led by President Clay Morrow, the club protects and controls Charming through close community relationships, bribery and violent intimidation.

Club members wear vests known as "kuttes" (jacket with the sleeves cut off). The SOA patch on the back is a grim reaper wielding an M-16 with a bloody scythe blade and holding a crystal ball with the anarchy "A". Only full members can wear the "patch". Other smaller patches on the vest stand for different things, examples being "Men Of Mayhem", which is worn by club members who have spilled blood on the club's behalf, and "First 9", worn by the original nine members of SOA. Jax has also worn a baseball cap that says "Reaper Crew", and at least two female characters affiliated with the club (Gemma, Tara) have crow tattoos. The Sons ride customized Harley-Davidson Dynas. Club members have "day jobs" in local industries, most of them working at the Teller-Morrow garage, but they primarily make money by illegally importing weapons, modifying and selling them to drug gangs in the East Bay, along with protection runs for local businesses by protecting valuable truck shipments from hijacking.

SAMCRO keeps meth traffickers and drug dealers out of Charming, which puts them at odds with the meth-distributing white supremacist Nords, headed by Ernest Darby. SAMCRO also has to deal with a rival Oakland-based motorcycle club (MC), the Mayans led by Marcus Alvarez. Other groups in SAMCRO's orbit include the San Francisco–based Chinese mafia Lin Triad, led by Henry Lin, the Italian American Cacuzza crime family, the True IRA of Ireland, which supplies them with illegal Russian-made guns, the "One-Niners", an African American street gang (who also appeared on The Shield, thus possibly putting the two in the same fictional universe) to whom SAMCRO sell weapons, and various affiliates in the state prison system, where many members of the club have been incarcerated at one time or another. The club operates out of a clubhouse on the same lot as the Teller-Morrow auto shop. The clubhouse includes a living area (where members sometimes crash for the night), a bar, a pool table, a kitchen, a workout room, and the "chapel", a room with an elaborate conference table made of redwood that has a reaper logo carved into the top. The club also owns a secluded cabin in the woods and formerly had a warehouse outside of town where they assembled the illegal weapons. John Teller and Piermont "Piney" Winston co-founded SAMCRO in 1967 following their return from service as paratroopers during the Vietnam War. Six of the "Redwood Original 9" members were vets; Clay Morrow was the youngest of the original members. John died in 1993, and his widow, Gemma, married Clay. John and Gemma's son, Jackson (Jax), is Vice President of SAMCRO. Jax is also connected to Tara, a doctor at St. Thomas Hospital.

According to series creator Kurt Sutter, FX will be picking up season three of Sons of Anarchy, and season three will deal with SAMCRO's roots. The third season is slated to premiere in September 2010. Additionally, Sutter wants to "take [the Sons] into a world that is outside their own, where they don't have control, where they are subject to other people's laws and beliefs and parameters, where they aren't quite the big fish in the small pond." This new season of the cable TV drama series is going to pick up right where season 2 ended. Jax as well as his SAMCRO cohorts are trying their best to find Abel, who was kidnapped by Cameron.

The first episode picks up shortly after the abduction of Abel. Gemma is hiding up north in Rogue River, Oregon with Tig, while the club tries to sort things out in Charming. Jax and Tara's relationship is strained as they try and cope with the loss of Abel. The club tries to close in on Cameron's trail, but find that he has liquidated his assets and apparently fled the country. Gemma and Tig visit Gemma's father, Nate (Hal Holbrook) who suffers from dementia. At the end of Half-Sack's wake, masked men commit a drive-by shooting. Deputy Hale is fatally run down by the vehicle, one of the shooters is captured, and at least two others are wounded. After seeing an innocent child has been shot, Jax mercilessly smashes the gunman's head against the pavement before Bobby, Clay, and Opie manage to pull him off.

After Nate shoots Tig, thinking he was an intruder, Gemma calls Tara for help. Tara takes a leave of absence from the hospital and heads north. The Sons seek revenge for the shooting, but ultimately decide not to act to avoid invoking a war with the Mayans. Cameron confesses his sins to his friend Father Ashby, an intermediary between Jimmy O and the Council. Ashby subsequently kills Cameron, and suggests he will give Abel up for adoption. The Sons hire a bounty hunter to try and track down Abel, and they believe he and Cameron are in Vancouver. SAMCRO has a bail hearing for the weapons charges upcoming, but they agree to jump bail. They continue to monitor the Mayans plans. Nate's nurse, Amelia realizes Gemma is on the lam, and threatens to turn Gemma in, but Gemma ties her up in the basement. When Tara arrives to fix Tig, she is attacked by Amelia whilst tending to her. After a struggle with Tara and Gemma, Amelia is accidentally killed. Tig calls a cleaner called Bachman (Stephen King) to remove the body. SAMCRO receives an email showing Cameron dead in Belfast.

After Jax consults Jimmy O, SAMCRO believes Abel remained in Vancouver when Cameron left for Belfast. They head for Oregon to pick up Gemma before moving on to Canada, and Clay's arthritis worsens during the ride. Tara and Jax continue to clash regarding Tara's role in club life, with Tara wanting to get in deeper but Jax refuses. Tara reveals that she and Gemma killed Amelia, which only makes matters worse. Gemma struggles when she takes Nate to his new assisted living home, and returns to Charming to reunite with her grandson, still unaware he has been kidnapped. Father Ashby's sister Maureen, who cared for Abel for a short period, contacts Gemma at Ashby's request to tell her Abel is safe in Belfast. Upon learning of her grandson's abduction, Gemma suffers a heart attack and collapses in the lot of Teller-Morrow, as the Sons arrive to her aid.

EPISODE SUMMARY: Kristina learns some alarming statistics about the divorce rate of parents living with autistic children and as a result schedules a date night with Adam to keep their marriage alive. Meanwhile, Sarah sees Drew with a girl and offers him unsolicited love advice. Haddie runs for student council president and enlists her family's help with her campaign. Crosby behavior gets the best of him and he learns an important lesson about being a father.

Gil Buckman (Steve Martin), a neurotic sales executive, is trying to balance a family in suburban St. Louis and his career. He wants to be an active father, rather than the distant workaholic that his own father was.

When he finds out that his eldest son, Kevin, has emotional problems and in the opinion of the school psychologist needs therapy, and also that his two younger children both have minor issues as well, Gil begins to blame himself and deeply question his abilities as a father. In addition his wife Karen (Mary Steenburgen) becomes pregnant with their fourth child, which he is unsure he can handle.

He is frustrated and fearful that the financial burdens of another child and office politics at work, which include a manager who is blatantly dishonest and manipulative, are turning him into the detached workaholic he despised his own father for being. This comes to a head near the end of the film, when his father comes to Gil for advice on how to deal with Larry (Gil's wayward brother) and says bluntly that he is asking Gil's advice because he knows Gil always thought he was a lousy father and becaue he also knows that Gil is a good father. Gil, who has been humbled by his children's issues and his own issues at work, opens up about his self doubts as a parent. His father tries to reassure him in a casual way by telling him that he worries too much, and the two have a reconciliation of sorts. Throughout the movie, Gil tries to lighten up more and be less fearful of the surprises he encounters in life and this has a good effect on Kevin, whose emotional problems begin to recede.

His sister Helen (Dianne Wiest) is a divorced bank manager and her dentist ex-husband is not involved with their children, Garry and Julie. He has a new wife and young son to whom he is very devoted and wants nothing to do with Garry or Julie. At first, Garry (Leaf Phoenix), who has just entered puberty, appears to be a very disturbed boy. He is quiet, uninvolved, and likes to be alone in his room with a mysterious paper bag. At first Helen worries that the bag contains drugs or alcohol, but the bag was actually filled with porn that he would masturbate to in his room.

Helen's daughter Julie (Martha Plimpton) is still in high school, but doesn't seem interested in school or her future even though she got 1300 on her SATs. She is already having sex with her slacker boyfriend Tod Higgins (Keanu Reeves), and the two of them want to start their lives together. They get married, Julie gets pregnant, and the two live at her mother's house. When in desparation Helen asks Tod to talk with Garry, Tod is able to form a strong bond with him by reassuring him that his obsession with girls and sex is not perverted, but normal for a boy his age. This is a tremendous relief to Garry, and he becomes much happier. This also greatly increases Helen's respect for Tod and she forms a strong bond with him too. She is relieved when Tod tells her what was really bothering Garry all along. Tod also mentions that she at least isn't abusive like his father was. Eventually she supports Tod and respects his and her daughter's relationship to the extent that when Julie wants to break up because of her fears with his profession (drag racing) Helen orders her to face her fears and support him also, even when he has an accident. She ultimately marries Garry's biology teacher who becomes the loving father figure that Garry in particular was so desperate to have.

Gil's other sister, Susan (Harley Kozak) is a middle school science teacher married to an intelligent but slightly neurotic scientist husband, Nathan Huffner (Rick Moranis). They have a sweet, precocious daughter, Patty. Susan wants more children, but Nathan is overly obsessed with their daughter's cognitive development and as a result, Patty is unable to relate to other children. Susan lashes out by eating junk food hidden in the closet and by compromising her diaphragm as a plan to get pregnant despite her husband's wishes. She eventually gets so frustrated with the situation that she leaves her family, causing Patty to struggle with her work and Nathan to eventually drop by one of her classes unexpectedly in an effort to win her back. He promises Susan he will try to change and will lighten up about Patty, and Susan agrees to move back into their home.

Finally, Gil's youngest sibling is his brother Larry (Tom Hulce) who, rather than settle into a career, has drifted through life trying to cash in on get-rich-quick schemes. Though he is the black sheep of the family, he is their father's favorite (mainly because he reminds him of himself at a younger age). He has recently shown up, along with his bi-racial son, Cool (who was the result of a brief affair with a Las Vegas showgirl.), and wants to borrow money from his father, supposedly for another of his get-rich-quick schemes. As always, Frank is supportive. But soon it becomes apparent that Larry has a gambling problem and needs the money to pay off his extensive gambling debts. Frank is disillusioned about Larry, but still loves him and tries to help -- Frank refuses to bail him out completely, but offers to teach him the family business so he can take it over from Frank. Larry declines, and Frank recognizes that his son will never stop wasting his life. He agrees to keep Cool after he is left in his care and realizes that he and his wife would be raising him. it is implied that Larry will disappear, with the irate criminals he owes money to on his tail; he is not seen again.

The film ends on a sentimental note with a new generation of Buckman children being born and the personal growth of the parents: Helen has just given birth, which is the reason why the family is reunited at the hospital. Frank lovingly hugs and cuddles his grandson, Cool, demonstrating that he changed his distant ways. Tod and Julie remain together (despite Helen's less than sunny predictions for their chances), raising their child. And, Nathan has lightened up as a parent, and Susan is visibly pregnant. And, Gil and his wife are now the proud parents of four.

The Good Wife Season 2 Episode 2

The Good Wife Season 2 Episode 2: Double Jeopardy is here!. To all the supporters and fans of The Good Wife get ready because another episode of The Good Wife is now here again to rock your world after watching." Double Jeopardy" was the title of this most awaiting episode of The Good Life. Just click the link below for the full video of the show.

In "The Good Wife's" second episode "Double Jeopardy," Florrick fixer Eli Gold and scheming A.S.A Cary Agos are both off their game in an hour that veers between a riveting court case for Alicia and a political crisis for Peter, while continuing the intrigue surrounding the Lockhart, Gardner merger. Toss in guest appearances by TV and radio host Lou Dobbs and campaign consultant Joe Trippi — to say nothing of the return of Zach's conniving girlfriend Becca — and you've got one hell of an episode.

When a jury declares Randall Simmons, defended by Will and Alicia, not guilty of murdering his wife, prosecutor Cary is in big trouble. The State had been offered a plea bargain — and refused.

Back at the firm, a sexy young Chicago Law Review reporter is interviewing Will when he spots Lou Dobbs chatting up Joe Trippi in the hallway. He's not nearly as stunned as the very liberal Diane. "Are you really representing Lou Dobbs?" Trippi asks her. "Talk about strange bedfellows."

Also left with his jaw dropping is Eli Gold. After briefly monitoring Peter's webcast interview with a blogger — among other points, Peter says he believes in stiff sentences, "the stiffer the better" — Gold spots Becca at the campaign phone bank. "Thank her…and get her out of here," he hisses to an aide. But there's a far bigger fire to extinguish: A new video of Peter's hooker Amber that is about to go viral.

"On a bed, in a car, out of state…he's the best candidate," croons the scantily clad call girl. It gets worse (or better, considering how much fun this is for the viewer) as she breathily coos, "People say you're down in the polls but I say you're always good at coming from behind…"

Flaunting a skimpy cop outfit, Amber continues, "You're not afraid of handing out stiff sentences" — when Peter's face pops up onscreen, chanting the chorus: "The stiffer the better."

"They're setting up his words," Gold realizes, racing to cut short Peter's interview.

Cary, shooting hoops with an old Peace Corps pal, Melinda Gossett, asks her to take a look at the Simmons case. Turns out, she's Capt. Melinda Gossett, US Army Judge Advocate General, and she will soon arrest Randall for murder — the same murder. When Will protests that it's double jeopardy, she tells him: "At the time, your client was a mobilized reservist… as such it isn't double jeopardy…your crime falls concurrently under military jurisdiction."

When Lt. Terrence Hicks, Randall's mild-mannered military lawyer, urges him to accept Melinda's offered 8 year plea bargain, he balks: "A year ago I came home to find my wife stabbed…the wife I loved…I will not take a plea of 8 years. I did not do this." He also begs Will and Alicia to continue to represent him.

At the Florrick apartment, Peter refuses Eli's pleas to start some dirty campaigning against Glenn Childs, who stands to benefit from the Amber video. Listening in, Grace gets increasingly agitated, and finally tells Zach about her encounter last week with the "trackers" who quizzed her about her father's tryst. "Should we tell Dad?" she asks.

Instead, Zach decides to confide in Eli — who, making his second big mistake, brushes him off: "I do not need Encyclopedia Brown on my staff."

In order to convince Diane to let him continue to represent Randall — this client, after all, brings in no money — Will agrees to support her in a partner show down. There's a publishing conflict between Diane's client Trippi and Bond's client Dobbs; the firm can only keep one, and Diane wants Will's vote.

Kalinda's new nemesis, investigator Blake, offers to help Alicia with the Simmons case. Quickly, he discovers that the notes in the margin of the paperwork are fresh…and in Agos' handwriting. "Cary's feeding them information," Alicia tells Will.

Think the judges they routinely face in Chicago courtrooms are cranky? Wait until you meet the military's Leora Kuhn. When a potential juror testifies that he might not be unbiased, because his sister was a victim of domestic violence, the judge bristles: "Corporal Barnard, if I order you to be unbiased, will you be?" "Yes, Ma'am," he obeys.

She also allows prejudicial photos and a statement Randall made when drunk to be admitted — and won't give Alicia and Will a continuance, because she doesn't want to "waste active soldiers' time." In fact, they won't even have the evening to regroup: After an hour break for dinner, court will resume at 6 p.m.

Will and Alicia ask Randall some tough questions: When cops searched his car, they found a passport, a wig, and an envelope containing $2000 in cash. Now that this information can't be excluded — what's up?

Randall admits he had planned to flee to Canada — because his unit was being called to Afghanistan. "Whatever you do," Lt. Hicks warns them, "you can't tell that to a military jury."

The partners meet to solve the Trippi/Dobbs quandary. But when Will sees how many more billable hours Lou generates, he quickly changes sides. Now deeply suspicious, Diane asks Kalinda to look into whether Will and Derrick have "a prior relationship." Has she been bamboozled into believing Bond was her find?

After school, Zach confronts Becca about her appearance at campaign headquarters. He almost gets out of her snare until she pulls him back with, "I know Glenn Childs Jr." It won't be long before Zach and Becca sit giggling in front of a computer screen as she creates a fake Facebook profile for Childs' son.

Desperate for a defense, Alicia tries to get the full military file on Randall's case. She gets nowhere with the soldier on duty until Lt. Hicks shows up and gives an order. The slight, bespectacled Hicks, it seems, is a decorated war hero.

Late at night, Alicia wakes up Will with a breakthrough — there are three more prints at the crime scene that match military personnel — only to hear Law Review reporter Madeline's voice in the background.

Well, that's jarring, but she soldiers on: One of these prints belongs to a corporal who had repeatedly called Randall's home — maybe he was having an affair with his wife?

But in court, they learn that suspect was killed three months ago. The two others are in Afghanistan, and the judge won't call them away from active duty — nor allow them to testify by teleconference.

At this point, Will throws a hissy fit, demanding that the judge recuse herself and declaring that the whole military system is "rigged against the defendant." She orders him in contempt and sends him to confinement — only to have that backfire, because Alicia and Lt. Hicks are not counsel of record.

"Hell of a way to get a continuance, Mr. Gardner," the judge snarls. "You have 24 hours."

Alicia and Kalinda visit Daria, the girlfriend of the dead soldier. She tells them Mrs. Simmons was having an affair with the CO of her husband's unit, who had said, in return, he could pull strings to keep Randall off the deployment list.

But Daria refuses to testify to that. "I'll lie, and the Army will let me," she says. "You think they want their dirty laundry aired in public? Your client killed his wife, Mrs. Florrick. He was jealous of her sleeping with another man. And the sad thing is, she was just trying to keep him home."

Daria does lie on the stand. But during his Illinois prosecution, Cary had also interviewed her, so Alicia calls him as an impeachment witness. He has to testify about the sexual favors Capt. Gaultier allegedly cajoled from Mrs. Simmons. And now, even Judge Kuhn must agree to question Gaultier.

"When you didn't make good on your promise," Alica accuses, "she threatened you and you went to her home….and stabbed her 38 times."

Gaultier pulls the plug on the teleconference and goes AWOL.

If Cary's plot has backfired, so has Derrick Bond's. Even with Trippi gone, Dobbs fires the firm–because he doesn't trust the other partners. Reluctantly, Diane agrees to meet with him.

"If I can represent murderers when I think they're guilty, I can represent you" is her winning argument. Dobbs is so smitten with her honesty, he agrees to return — but only if she, personally, will represent him.

In military court, Randall is found not guilty. Melinda glares at Cary (man has he messed up her career). But the former Lockhart, Gardner associate, once simply smarmy, seems to have evolved into something evil. "You know, now that your client has been found not guilty," Cary tells Alicia, "it frees him up to serve out his commitment…They're deploying him to Afghanistan."

It's been a bad week for just about everybody, and it's likely to get worse for Diane: The episode ends with Kalinda, finished with her Derrick-Will investigation, ominously approaching to report her findings.

Watch NCIS: Los Angeles Season 2 Episode 4 now! This episode is getting more exciting! Watch it now at the link given below.

EPISODE SUMMARY: A Marine with a top-level security clearance is found dead and missing a hand in Beverly Hills. His death appears to be connected to a recent tour in Iraq.

NCIS: Los Angeles (Naval Criminal Investigative Service: Los Angeles) is an American police procedural television series which premiered on CBS on September 22, 2009. The series airs following NCIS on Tuesdays.

NCIS: Los Angeles is the first spin-off of NCIS, which itself was a spinoff of another CBS series, JAG. On October 7, 2009, CBS gave the series a full-season pickup, extending the first season to 22 episodes. The season was extended again on November 4, 2009, when CBS announced its order for an additional two episodes.

The second season began airing on September 21, 2010, with Eric Christian Olsen joining the cast as a series regular. Olsen appeared in two episodes of the first season as a guest star. Peter Cambor (Nate Getz) was not listed in the opening credits of the first episode, "Human Traffic", as part of the main cast but as a "special guest star", in the second episode he did not appear at all, nor was he listed as a regular, he departed in Season 2, Episode 3, telling Hetty he wants to return to the Middle East.

"Identity", the show's first episode, garnered 18.73 million viewers with a 4.4/11 share in the 18–49 year old demographic and therefore won its timeslot. It was the second most watched show of the week, behind only the original NCIS.

This first episode was moderately well reviewed by critics. According to Mary McNamara of the Los Angeles Times, "The crime is intriguing and multifaceted, its resolution requiring a nice balance of street smarts and lots of gunfire. But as with the original "NCIS," the emphasis is on the characters of the team... Los Angeles, meanwhile, looks fabulous, a pleasing mixture of noir and gridlock, and there's an air of stability that's comforting in these uncertain times." The New York Daily News reviewer, David Hinckley, was more critical of the show saying that although "It all adds up to an hour of decent entertainment, and there's room for enough character development to give "NCIS: Los Angeles" a personality of its own, ... a premiere episode shouldn't feel even a little like something we've already seen."

Tom Shales of The Washington Post felt that "NCIS: Los Angeles gets the job done ... It's a procedural that follows strictly the established procedure, but it has likable characters, dislikable bad guys and the occasional flabbergasting shot of L.A." Robert Bianco of USA Today summarized it as a "serviceable hour that takes the NCIS formula—a light tone and a lot of banter wrapped around a fairly rudimentary investigatory plot—and transfers it to a special, undercover NCIS division in Los Angeles. Nothing more, but also nothing less." The Hollywood Reporter compared the show to The A-Team with "the same lighthearted approach to life-or-death situations. Maybe the biggest change is that "NCIS: L.A." achieves its inevitably favorable outcomes with a little more intellect and a little less testosterone." IGN stated that although "NCIS: Los Angeles doesn't exactly reinvent the police procedural... it's another above-average entry, aided by the fact that the people behind the show know what they're doing" and ultimately gave the episode a 7.7/10.

NCIS follows a fictional team of Naval Criminal Investigative Service Major Case Response Team (MCRT) special agents headquartered at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. It is described by the actors and producers (on special features on DVD releases in the United States) as being distinguished by its comic elements, ensemble acting and character-driven plots.

NCIS is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy, which includes the United States Marine Corps . NCIS investigates all major criminal offenses (felonies)—crimes punishable under the Uniform Code of Military Justice by confinement of more than one year—within the Department of the Navy. The MCRT is frequently assigned to high profile cases such as the death of the U.S president military aide , a bomb situation on a U.S. Navy warship, the death of a celebrity on a reality how set on a USMC base, terrorist threats, and kidnappings.

NCIS is currently led by Director Leon Vance. The first director seen in the series, Thomas Morrow (Alan Dale), left after being promoted to Deputy Director of DHS Jenny Shepard (Lauren Holly) was appointed director after Morrow; she was killed in a shootout at the end of the fifth season, thus making Vance the director of the whole organization.

EPISODE SUMMARY: A woman murdered in an apparent robbery is the latest assignment for Fitch & Washington and Longford & Majahan but it's not as straightforward as it appears. The victim was a squatter in Brush Park. Stone and Sanchez are working on the case of a murdered teenager found with his father who although severely beaten is still alive. The case uncovers a scam involving vintage cars.

Detroit 1-8-7 is an American crime drama series about Detroit's leading homicide unit. It began airing on ABC in September 201 The series stars Michael Imperioli as Detective Louis Fitch, a respected yet deeply misunderstood man fighting crime on the streets of Detroit.

The show's executive producer, David Zabel stated, "This is a crime show but we will explore various nooks and crannies in the communities and within that context there's a lot of opportunity to see what's positive in the city and see what's heroic about the people fighting for what's best for the city of Detroit."

The pilot episode was shot in Atlanta, Georgia, although the series is set to film in Detroit. Originally planned as a mockumentary, ABC has decided to abandon the format after the city of Detroit banned camera crews from following real officers after a controversial police shooting during filming of the A&E documentary series The First 48. Scenes from the pilot were re-shot to remove the mockumentary format before the episode aired.

Detroit 1-8-7 has an average score of 64/100 on Metacritic based on 20 reviews from television critics.[7] Robert Bianco of USA Today describes the series as the best police drama on ABC since NYPD Blue ended. Bianco says the show's best trait is its uncommon setting and that it is filmed where it is set, "which gives it an authenticity and a palpable sense of place."[8] The New York Times's television critc Alessandra Stanley said the show is "a throwback to an earlier era of cop shows when steel-edged realism was still novel and there was a thrill to watching terse, streetwise detectives on shows like Dragnet and Kojak cajole witnesses and browbeat suspects."[9]

Rob Owen, of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette found Detroit 1-8-7 brings nothing new to the police procedural genre but that it does offer strong performances from its cast. Owen further said that the drama is disappointingly generic, but expected it to appeal to die-hard fans of the genre. In his review of new shows for autumn 2010 Hank Stuever of the Washington Post gives Detroit 1-8-7 a grade of D+ and says "nothing to see here." John Doyle of The Globe and Mail called Detroit 1-8-7 "a too-conventional cop show."

Many critics point out that the ghost remnants of the show's original premise as a mockumentary can be found throughout the first episode.

John Roach, former Detroit Police Department spokesman, in speaking of the first episode, said, "I think the show portrayed Detroit's police officers as real people, dedicated, even heroic, which is entirely deserved."

Life Unexpected Season 2 Episode 4 summaries is all about a girl name Cate who make an effort and make a way to save and fix her relationship with her newly partner name Ryan. Cate has been hiding from Ryan when Kelly reveals a secret to her that's why her plans break. While on the other hand Tasha is now living with a new foster family and she unexpectedly returs to Portland to tell that news to Lux. Meanwhile Baze want to have out date together with Paige so he convinces Math to help him in courting Paige.

The director of this episode was Liz Allen and Adele Lim is a co- executive producer who became the writer of this episode.

Official Description: "In an effort to fix their hostile work relationship, Cate attempts to bond with Ryan's new on-air partner, Kelly, but the plan backfires when Kelly reveals a secret Cate has been hiding from Ryan. Meanwhile, Tasha returns to Portland unexpectedly and tells Lux that she is living with a new foster family, and Baze convinces a smitten Math to ask Paige out on a date."

Teenager Lux (Britt Robertson) had been through the foster care system for almost her whole life. Cate Cassidy (Shiri Appleby) had given birth to her while still a teen but gave her up for adoption believing a better home could be found for her. Most likely because of her heart problems as a baby, Lux was never adopted. On her 16th birthday, she decides that it's time for her to become an emancipated minor, but before that occurs, she has to get signatures from her unknown birth parents. First she encounters Nathaniel "Baze" Bazile (Kristoffer Polaha), her birth father and owner of the Open Bar. He lives a semi-fraternity boy lifestyle above the drinking establishment with two lazy roommates, and sleeps with many women. However, even when he signs the papers, Baze discovers that he is bonding with his newfound daughter, and realizes that she has his eyes. He introduces Lux to her mother Cate, co-host of the "Morning Madness" drive time show at one of Portland's radio stations and Baze's former one-night stand from high school.

Lux has been listening to Cate's voice on the radio as long as she can remember, so she feels an instant connection with the mom she's never met. Baze takes Lux to meet Cate, who is shocked and saddened to learn that Lux has grown up in foster care instead of the adoption she believed would take place and is reluctant to commit to her daughter. Eventually, Cate wants to be a part of Lux's life, and she shows that she really does care. When a judge decides that Lux isn't ready for emancipation and unexpectedly grants temporary joint custody to Baze and Cate, they agree to try to get past the awkwardness. Cate, due to her job as a radio host, and the fact that she has a suitable house, is given primary custody of Lux. Ryan Thomas (Kerr Smith), her radio broadcast partner, as well as her fiance, also takes to Lux.

As the series progresses, though, Baze becomes more responsible, and works harder to get the bar in shape and the living space above it so that Lux can be able to visit and stay with him; at times, Baze, the one that was considered to perhaps be more of a slacker, had proven that when the chips are down, he inevitably comes through for Lux, giving her support and love. Cate, despite her constantly disappointing Lux, still means well. Ryan, in some ways jealous and insecure because of Baze's constant presence in his fiancee's life, gets resentful and has physically fought Baze. Ryan, finally fed up with Baze's continual interference, breaks it off with Cate. Eventually though, Ryan and Cate reconnect, and their engagement is back on. He also relents a bit towards Baze after the two have drinks and Baze explains that all he is to Cate is the father of Lux, and nothing else.

Lux has several friends from her old life, including best friend Tasha (Ksenia Solo), Lux's boyfriend Bug (Rafi Gavron), and Tasha's boyfriend Gavin (Rhys Williams). She must decide whether she can continue to have her old friends in her life as she attempts new friendships. Sometimes, Bug is known for doing things which brings him in trouble with the law, and that sometimes imperils Lux's life with Baze and Cate. Baze also incurs Cate's wrath when it is discovered that he is sleeping with her sister, and Lux's aunt Abby (Alexandra Breckenridge).
